I had my 7th mcs about 9 weeks ago (i think, i didnt write any dates down, have little memory of about 2 weeks during the time, due to the drugs i was pumped with)
In short, i dont know when it occurred.

Ive sought councelling because i have never talked about my mcs ever, to any one.(well, only to you lot Smile)
Additionally, i am coming up 42, and thught that that was IT the end, no more, even went and got the pill.

Patiently waiting for my period so that i could start taking the damned thing.
No af as yet.
Feeling much better in myself, councelling really really helping, im on a healthy eating mission (thanks to myfitnesspal) doing really well.

Accepting everything, although the grief has been overwhelming at times Sad.

So af still not here, so bought a cheepy test, thought that all pregnancy hrmones will now be gone...this far after mc....almost immediately a pink line came up.

We dtd only a couple of times..it normally took me up to 22 months to concieve so this has floored me...completely and totally. Do not know what the jeff i should do?????????
All calming words of wisdom very much appreciated....i know i know, theres no fool like an old fool.. Sad

Just found this thread again, good luck no sleep!!! So :) for you!!

fruitpastille · 17/08/2012 17:17

Have been avidly reading this on our looong car journey home from holiday. Really, really hope amnio went well today and that you can relax a little. I have only ever had 1 mc and remember how even that made me so anxious during subsequent pg so cant imagine how you must be. Good luck x

KateBeckett · 17/08/2012 17:39

Oh my lord! Have just read this whole thread from beginning to end. Hat a rollercoaster! Must admit to getting all teary eyed at your story nosleep.

My fingers and toes and eyes are all crossed for you and lil avocado today. Hoping and praying for you xxxxxx

nosleepwithworry · 17/08/2012 21:03

So glad that there are more folk joining this journey with me Smile

I'm not going to lie to you, amnio was awful. Sonographer couldnt get fluid so had to stick the needle in again in a different spot. Kept getting dragging and sharp pain throughout my whole undercarriage. I was scared to breath in case i moved and something bad happened.
Eventually they got the fluid and it was nice and clear, not blood stained.

Continued to have sharp stabbing pain through the morning, but by lunch time they had gone and i have felt well this afternoon. Just really tired because i couldnt sleep with anxiety and worry last night.

I just keep thinking "on lord, what have i done", what if the baby has died today? What if i have caused it to die by doing this.
Saw HB after the procedure and they gave me another picture.

I will get 1st set of results next Tuesday, last set in 10-14 days time. They will phone me.

I truly feel like i am now on the very last leg of the really difficult bits now.
In two weeks i will know if i can carry on as a normal pregnant expectant lady.

Lifes little hiccups just keep coming dont they!

nosleepwithworry · 17/08/2012 22:13

Wow, what an amazing thread. Just want to wish you all the best. Flowers
I love the way you sound so incredibly sensible and rational one minute than just a little bit crazy the next. Grin. (Totally understandable craziness of course!)

WheresMyCow · 17/08/2012 23:12

Glad that it's over and done with for you now. At least you don't have to wait too long for the results, just try and keep relaxed for that very special little one you've got growing in there!! Grin

IwishIwasinLondon · 17/08/2012 23:20

Great news that it's done.

I don't envy you the wait, but you sound so incredible that I know you'll find a way to rationalise it and probably turn it into another positive.

Do keep us posted!

willitbe · 18/08/2012 09:33

It is great to have each day pass and all be well. You are definitely pregnant now and can start to think like a pregnant lady for sure.!

nickelcognito · 18/08/2012 13:07

I'm glad it's over.

as long as you still feel pregnant, it'll be fine.
:)

good luck

nosleepwithworry · 18/08/2012 15:29

ok, this not doing anything lark is starting to piss me off.
DH bless him has been making the meals, loading the dishwasher, ds empties it, but thats it, unless i specifiacally tell him what needs doing. Sigh.

The floors need sweeping & mopping and the bathroom needs cleanng.
Ive done a few bits but i want to get on with stuff.

Im gonna write DH a list of stuff that needs doing and im going to get him to do it tomorrow morning, then take ds out for the afternoon.

I want to do stuff, but i am scared to move iyswim.

Anyway, it will all get done when it gets done Smile

Yes yes im a loon, up & down up & down, but its coming to an end soon Smile

you don't have to do nothing.

you can surf the web and eat chocolate and ice cream!

fruitpastille · 18/08/2012 16:20

Maybe ice cream would be good for your next official craving! Enjoy the rest, dirty floors are not so terrible.

MrsMcEnroe · 18/08/2012 16:23

I've been lurking up 'til now but I had to butt in at this point to wish you well OP - I hope you're feeling OK today.
