Not so imaginative as lunatic !

Part One HERE

Part Two HERE

There are a mixture of Pg ladies, new BFP's (YAY) and new ladies who have sadly had to join us and are going through testing. Lots of OMW's and hand holding here!

Sit down, grab a cushion and a hot choc and get comfortable.

justmee zinc can improve mens sperm, get him on a good multi vit. well man or something similar. it can't hurt.

Glitterybits · 23/12/2010 18:40

Bloody hell Lunatic your nerves must be shot. Glad you went straight to hospital. Hope that makes you feel a little bit calmer. You're in the right place. Sod Christmas. We did it in February one year and it was a wonderful break from the norm. There are far more important fish to fry. Rest for now. Hope the scan is reassuring. X

stillfrazzled · 23/12/2010 20:02

Right, have just bought last gifts and ribbons (last minute? Moi?), decorated Christmas cake with DS (topped by one of his Thomas the Tanks; v proud of my icing rails Grin), put my stollen in the oven and cleaned bombsite kitchen.

Now going to wang laundry onto radiators and head up for bath and much-needed hair colourant. I've been rocking bag lady chic for the last few days and feel the need to be clean and decently dressed. No more grisly trackies till I'm home again.

Will try to post from my folks over Christmas, esp to update on Lunatic and mumatron.

And can't put it as well as Glittery, but I hope this Christmas brings something good to all of us - even if it's just a few moments' peace and a laugh or two.

Take care all x

mumatron · 23/12/2010 20:07

don't have time to do an epic catch up, so will just say a merry christmas to you all now as a few of you wont be around next few days, will try and update if as and when anything happens here.

will be thinking of you all.

xx

Hi girls,

Just popping in quickly as I have been awake going on 20 hours...have finally made it back to the US for Xmas, after a 27 hour journey...I could kill Heathrow for their lack of preparation in the snow fiasco.

LF Hope you are ok. Don't worry about Christmas, as long as you a bubs are ok then that's all that matters!!

Waves to baubles, digital, mumatron, mummy, julez, and anyone else I missed!

lulu1414 · 24/12/2010 07:00

LAF- I'm so, so sorry.

For everyone else- wishing you all a merry christmas.

ALovelyBunchOfBaubles · 24/12/2010 10:45

Hi just a quicky today although I will be lingering around as I have nothing to prepare as we aren't home for Christmas.

lunatic Hope you and baba are ok, your health is the most important, Christmas can wait :)

glittery X-posts :) Hope you are well and glad the midwife went well. It must seem very surreal, but in a good way obviously :) I hope seeing your friend went well.

justmee Yes a wellman multi vitamin would not be a waste of money. And further translating things? Have you started charting?

Merry Christmas to everyone, hope you all have a great time and may 2011 bring us some more good luck and hopefully some BFPs :)

Much love to you all xx

hairyfairylights · 24/12/2010 11:13

Sorry about shitty grammer Blush

LadybeenKissingSantaClaus · 27/12/2010 10:27

mumatron and jules hope everything goeszwell in the next day or so.

LAF77 I was so sorry to read of your loss - I've been keeping up to date but sonlittle time to post recently. Your most recent experience is what happened with mine as well, so I had my heart in my mouth for you. I so wish things had worked out differently.

Hope all are well, I'm back in bed feeling completely exhausted - not quite sure if it's just a reaction to the pre-Christmas rush or something to do with a tooth where I lost a filling that is now painful or just that cough/cold resurfacing. Doesn't matter, am going to rest no matter what.

I've got one more test coming up - day 21 progesterone, it needs to be done on Wednesday - hope the clinic at hosp is open. Should be I think.

LadybeenKissingSantaClaus · 27/12/2010 10:27

Sorry. iPhone typos ahoy

mumatron · 27/12/2010 10:47

nothing doing here. lots of regular pains until 3.30am then they just stopped and i have managed to sleep until 10.30am.

lady toothache over xmas is horrible. there is always at least one person ill in this house at xmas.

JingleJulezbooBells · 27/12/2010 11:17

Just to update contractions tailed off I had a bath and went to bed was very restless from 4am onwards eventually getting up around 9am, probably getting a tightening every 17-20 mins now which is mor uncomfortable than painful.

Pretty sure its a UTI. I am gonna get myself bathed n dressed n try n get to see a doctor just to make sure. Still a lot of pressure pains down below crampy in back and lower tummy.

mumatron I hope things get moving for you! I would like to hold on a little while yet! My self set target is 35 weeks. I am 33 weeks today!

Hope everyone else is okay x

banana87 · 27/12/2010 16:13

Hope everything is ok and baby hangs in there a bit longer Julez. On the other hand, hope yours gets moving mumatron!

No news here, preparing to go to FL tomorrow. 9 hour drive with a 2 year old that I am not looking forward to! Am ov'ing right now, boobs v sore, but abstaining just to make sure I don't get pg. Spotting finally stopped! A christmas miracle!!!

Hi all,

Glad you've all survived Christmas! Ours was lovely although could have done without DS on an airbed in our room - he's doing his whirling dervish impression, which makes the bed squeak and wakes him up, several times a night. Gaaaah. Also awake from 4.30am on Christmas Day grrrrrrrr.

BUT we've eaten, drunk and laughed a lot and DS has played with many things that aren't trains - my Christmas miracle Grin.

Hope everyone's OK and especially that Lunatic, julez and mumatron are taking it easy and being looked after.

Will post personal updates tomorrow or day after, x

ALovelyBunchOfBaubles · 27/12/2010 20:30

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Ours was nice, saw all the family and stayed at my mum's Xmas day night and came home Boxing Day evening.

DD has a terrible chesty cough. Not quite bad enough for a trip to GP yet but it would be so much better for her if there was actually a cough medicine around suitable for a 2 year old. They all say 6 years+. And we all know that a night coughing leaves you tired so she was a grump all weekend!

Logged on late last night with no time to post and expected there to be two babies born overnight but no such luck!!

lunatic glad you got home from hospital ok and that baby is sill where it should be! Nothing better than sleeping in your own bed is there! :)

justmee I'm not sure how much they are over here in England, could you possibly log onto Boots' UK website and check the price and if they do overseas delivery? How is your dog now?

mumatron lots of false alarms happen but I bet you were getting ready for a trip to hospital hey!? I never suffered any Braxton Hicks or any practice goes when I was pg with DD so no advice but hope you don't have to wait much longer!

julez Hope your little one is staying put for a few more weeks yet. Time has gone so fast, can't believe you are 33 weeks already!

lady Hope the tests go well Weds, and that you aren't feeling too poorly still. Toothache is awful :(

banana have a safe drive tomorrow :)

frazzled We had to sleep in my brother's metal framed bed when we were at my mum's and it does nothing but squeak and it is so annoying so I know how you feel!
