I think its hormonal-lead heat. A power surge. Im always very hot at 5am, despite my room being only 15 degrees, I tie my hair up and have cotton bedding and pyjamas.

Far better now I'm on HRT though. Before, I'd wake up drenched and sweating like I'd run a marathon.

I get up on purpose to take the dog out early. I started doing it at the first lockdown, and now it's a habit!

I know they early wake up is me too, could be two, three or four am, I lay awake thinking, can’t get back to sleep, sometimes I do, but always up between 5am - 6am. Unloading the dishwasher before 5 this morning.
