Hello ladies, i dont usually post here ( in fact i didnt know this bit existed ) but id just like to say that i was going through a really bad time with mega hot flushes, night sweats, terrible bloating and mood swings.
I read in one of the womans magazines about the ladycare magnet and went straight on to their site and ordered one not really thinking it would do much good but since it was only about 20 quid i thought id give it a try.
My hot flushes which were coming about 10 - 15 times a day for about 5 mins a time stopped almost straight away ( just the odd one but not full blown ) i never had another night sweat Grin and my bloating reduced gradually over a couple of weeks, my mood lifted as well, i wore it for about 9 months and all was well then i went and lost it on holiday and forgot about it when i came home.
A few days later my flushes started again so i hot footed it down to Boots to buy another one and again the flushes stopped Grin
I now have been wearing it for around a year and a half and have no flushes, sweats or bloating.
I dont know how it works ( and i dont care as long as it does )and im not saying it would work on everyone but for me it has been a miracle life saver {grin}

I'd recommend reading the leaflet online by the RCOG on alternatives to HRT. Sorry but the magnet is rubbish. It's complete hocus pocus. If you want other stuff to try, think about herbs, supplements and products that show some scientific efficacy.
Al drugs and treatments can have up to a 400% placebo effect which is why some women think the magnet works, and their symptoms would come and go naturally anyway.

Hi,

I’ve just been to Boots & purchased one for £35. I’ve been struggling with night sweats & as I work “ nights “ - I’ve been really fed up with trying to hide my discomfort.
I’m not taking any other menopause medication so I will report back with any feedback.
I 100% do not work for the company manufacturing these - I work in a supermarket ☺️

Really hope it works

I have just registered with Mumsnet and I'm posting for the very first time I'm..... I have occasionally looked at the site when looking for reviews in the past....This is a test really to see if my message falls in the right place... Was looking at reviews of the ladycare menopause magnet. I am thinking of trying it, but because the hostility with some of the reviews I thought I would first this first
