So...
have you been invited to this year's summer party?
I'm not one of the select few.
Apparently the venue is the same as last year.....

Invite me Beety - I only told you to f- off the once didn't I? ...on that hopefully forgotten 'bloody french and the CAP' thread.

Having scanned this thread - makes a lot of sense. This is a party for people who are friends and know each other socially, rather than a meetup so not biggie really is it

suzywong · 01/08/2005 10:37

can you invite me and pay for my air ticket please

handlemecarefully · 01/08/2005 10:40

lol!

Blu · 01/08/2005 10:43

Well, I hope Uninvited and her friends are all in a major huff because I met 3 'MN' friends last week, and didn't invite the other 10 million, and i have never once had the generosity to open my hous, field and life up to anyone who said they wanted to come to my house.

If you went to the party last year, you should be ashamed to have accepted the hospitality if you're just going to stir it every time Beety (alledgedly) invites a few presonal freinds to her house henceforth!

The house is on the market, what a graceless git you are to stir anything for her behind her back while she is on hol (isn't she?)

This is a low-rent bargain basement nasty piece of work of a thread.

He certainly did! (wmf, that is)
But probably we should just let the whole thing sink to the lower depths below active convos where it begins, shouldn't we?

Blackduck · 01/08/2005 10:52

Blimey this is like a row in the playground...

handlemecarefully · 01/08/2005 10:53

Yes go and help mememum on the Everybody's girl but mine thread'. I've just given her duff advice, but she needs a bit of support I think...

CountessDracula · 01/08/2005 10:55

god how pathetic

Toothache · 01/08/2005 10:55

I'm confused.... judging by the thread Hunker posted... it was most certainly a Mumsnet party that people were talking about!
Can't that still go ahead? Is this the same thing as last year or just a party that Beety is throwing?

toothache i was on that thread and it was a general convo about where would be viable to organise a mumsnet meetup party. Beety was saying that if she was in her house..which is up for sale.. then she would be happy to have it there as she did last year apparently. However nothing I know off was followed up.
