I'm going to throw in the idea of going during February half term which I believe is 15th - 20th February.

Ok I think I've waffled on enough; what does everyone think?

I'm pretty new to the NE (and to mumsnet!) and have just come across this.... would it be Ok for me to come along too and meet some local mums?
How would I recognise you all - do we all have to dress from a particular page of the Boden catalogue!!??

juneybean · 11/02/2010 15:07

Of course you can come along, last time we met we brought biscuits haha!

BouncingTurtle · 11/02/2010 15:15

1of4 - we'll be the group in the corner tutting at the mums giving their babies fruitshoots

Shall we all meet in the carpark? Perhaps by the entrance? There are quite a few of us who have met before, so if we kind of congregate near the entrance, hopefully we will be easy to spot!

If it helps, I am short, fat, dark haired and have a very small 2yo blond boy. And I drive a red Hyundai i30. So look out for me and I'll steer you right

Indith · 11/02/2010 15:44

Keep forgetting about this! Shall bully dh to see if he will work from home Shame Butterpie may not be able to make it, ds is still going on about M after cafe continental, methinks he has a crush

1of4 · 11/02/2010 15:54

BouncingTurtle - thanks - will bring fruitshoot, 2 each do?
hope to see you there...

BouncingTurtle · 11/02/2010 16:05

StealthPolarBear · 11/02/2010 16:08

juneybean · 11/02/2010 16:13

juneybean · 11/02/2010 16:54

Hahah not sure my haggling would work there!

They've asked for proof, so I've made a little image that I will print off a few of so we have one each and I will put my name on it

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 11/02/2010 16:57

StealthPolarBear · 11/02/2010 16:58

Argh, count me out. Dh not only cannot work from home but he needs the car to go between offices so I can't drop him at the station and nab off with it!

juneybean · 11/02/2010 20:58

Awww noo

OP posts:
BouncingTurtle · 12/02/2010 08:05

Oh no Indith!!!

Any chance of you cadging a lift with anyone?

I'd come for you only problem is trying to fit 3 child seats in my car...

Unless you squeezed in the back?
Is DD still in a rear facing seat?

We could put your dd in the rear seat behind my back seat(I have short legs so plenty of room behind me), you in the middle, your ds in the seat behind the passenger seat and my ds in the the front seat (I can disable front passenger airbag).

It might be a squash but you are dead skinny anyway unlike me lol.

BouncingTurtle · 12/02/2010 08:05

Juney - well done on the discount!!

StealthPolarBear · 12/02/2010 08:33

BettySwollux · 12/02/2010 10:49

Any chance of moving the date as a few of us cant go?

Would that be really inconvenient?

juneybean · 12/02/2010 13:26
