it was a good night, what did you lot get up to after we'd gone?

Indith · 28/02/2010 10:28

Yes what did you do?

I was hungry again this morning SPB Think it is called feeding!

Got home to dh and dd snuggling in bed, she was looking very grumpy and was rather pleased to see my breasts me

Today dh is ill so is shivering upstairs in bed

StealthPolarBear · 28/02/2010 11:09

sorry to hear that - is it man flu? hope he's better soon.
was d asleep then? Or was she pointing at her watch and asking what time do you call this?

juneybean · 28/02/2010 13:36

Ohh we left about 5 minutes after hehe

I'm some woman behind us was giving A funny looks. I can't be sure but the bloke at the table was turning round and smiling but her face was all contorted and she was saying something but I could quite make out what she was saying. Silly woman.

OP posts:
stickylittlefingers · 28/02/2010 16:10

I could do with a bit more curry now, that's for sure. I'm off to look for chicken achar recipes (hopefully that involve buying one pot of chicken achar sauce...)

Was lovely to see everybody! I thoroughly enjoyed myself...

StealthPolarBear · 28/02/2010 18:41

she was probably wondering what such a small baby was doing out so late Do you mean the people behind me, and a bit lower down?
So did I SLF!

BouncingTurtle · 28/02/2010 19:47

Yes Juney you were right, she kept twisting around, and had catbum face at one point when we were talking about breastfeeding. Silly cow!

BettySwollux · 28/02/2010 20:24

I never noticed catbum woman, mind you, I usually miss everything that isnt pointed out.

Had a really lovely night, was far too full to do any dancing.
SLF - good to know for next time.

StealthPolarBear · 28/02/2010 20:45

me too, BS, am the least observant person i know Ah well, she wouldn't have liked the alternative!

Mermaidspam · 28/02/2010 20:58

I didn't notice her either. Silly tart.

Lovely to meet everyone though

SPB - you should've squirted her

spiggy · 01/03/2010 20:58

Lovely night, would definitely be up for some dancing another time although I'd have to save up for the taxi fare back home!

SPB- A was totally scrummy. What sling did you have? It looked really comfy.

BouncingTurtle · 02/03/2010 15:28

Betty, Mermaid, SPB, you had your backs to her so that is probably why you didn't notice! Me and Juney were both sitting opposite her.

Indith · 02/03/2010 15:39

Gosh now dancing seems like a good idea, it has been way too long!

We so need to keep doing this on a regular basis, it is wonderful.

stickylittlefingers · 02/03/2010 18:25

woohoo dancing! I'm looking forward to that already! I should also say thanks very much for the lift too SPB

If you can be offended by a perfectly behaved baby, you're a pretty offendable person (or should I say offensive!). I thought A was amazing - not only not crying, but very good company as well - I loved the little grins across the table! Adorable. Must get myself one of those...

Next time that happens, we'll have to form a ring and harangue the woman, MN-style. YABU, YABU, YABFU....
