What days of the week are best for day time meets? Also are mornings or afternoons easier?

January - I really want to go back to Cafe Continental in Durham! Any takers for coffee & cake?

I've not caught her. Just realised her mobile is onthe contact list though so will send her a message, don't really want to ring and badger her tonight.

I'd be up for a last minute meet-up this week: got to make the most of last month of mat leave. Coffee to drink, cakes to consume and all that.

I start back in August too - get a temp reprieve as I'm off Tuesdays and Wednesdays until September

Ooo yes - I hope your builders permit. If they do, any preference as to location? If central Durham, Leonards is v good although quite small.

Thursday is good :-) 10 ish? Always seems like a reasonable cake time.

Hmm yes Leonards is a bit small, depends how many sproglets we have with us . We've always found Cafe Continental to be very nice at putting up with us taking over the downstairs with an assortment of pushchairs and rampaging infants. Hmmm muffins and Leonards or Cheesecake at Cafe COntinental. Decisions decisions.

Sorry, I'm on a course all day thurs, so cant come.

My friend used to be cake maker there, will have to ask her to bake me something.

Having a bit of a nightmare ATM, the woman I was mentoring for the case study on my course has dropped out, I have just got a stand-in, but need to do at least 3 sessions and the write up by a week on thurs......aaaarrrggh!

Friday's good for me, and so's Cafe Continental - when you've visited before, was there room to bring in pushchairs or is baby carrier the way to go?

We normally take over the downstairs(so we will be easy to spot as the downstairs isn't very big), there is room if you have a pushchair that will fold flat, and we can tuck it out of the way. I would take the carrier with you. There will be plenty of us who don't have babes in arms who will take the baby off you for a while if necessary!

Friday at CC sounds good. I was considering having a work-at-home day on Friday, but actually a work-in-a-cafe day might improve my paper-editting rate...!

We have a wasps nest
and we've just had a power cut (whole street, not just us)
I really plan to be there on Friday and at the moment should be fine but apologies in advance if I stand you lot up again!
