Ok.
WE really need to get this sorted if we are to hold a party this year.
As it seems i've somehow managed to volunteer to organise it we figuered we'd just go back to the Hat & Tun as last year's do was so succesfull.

We have a preliminary date of the 28th November.

Last year everyone paid £20 towards venue hire and food ( which was delicious) so if everyone is agree'd we will just do that agin this year.

so if everyone that is interested in coming could PLEASE list your names on this thread so that we know this will be a viable event.

otherwise i need to phone pizza hut and book a booth

Oh and i don't know how you make threads sticky but if someone does....could they?

also music - we will be putting some songs onto either an ipod or cd's and they will be playing that for us through the night.

I will start a thread a little later asking for peoples suggestions for songs they would like.

Athena - so long as we get about 30 of us i reckon we should be ok. [scared and hopefull grin]

The food is in the shape of platters of "mini" dishes. they are utterly delicious and you just help yourself to the elements you want.

they consist of

Breaded scampi with tartare sauce, mini fish pie and roasted new potatoes

Mini cottage pie, sausage rolls and spicy chicken wings

Yorkshire puddings with rare roast beef, mini sausages in honey and mustard, pork pie

Vegetable spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce, cheese and onion tartlets and mini potato rosti with aioli

If you need something other than whats listed let me know and i will certainly try and arraneg something for you

Anyone fancy sharing lifts/meeting up for train journey from Surrey?

I'm going from Epsom. I might drive, not sure yet. I did last year anyway.

Eyeballs - I've been thinking about making at least part of my journey by car so I don't spend lots of money on drink. But then that would be boring, innit?! Loads of drunk MNers and me being all sober....

Not sure what to do....
