WE really need to get this sorted if we are to hold a party this year.
As it seems i've somehow managed to volunteer to organise it we figuered we'd just go back to the Hat & Tun as last year's do was so succesfull.

We have a preliminary date of the 28th November.

Last year everyone paid £20 towards venue hire and food ( which was delicious) so if everyone is agree'd we will just do that agin this year.

so if everyone that is interested in coming could PLEASE list your names on this thread so that we know this will be a viable event.

otherwise i need to phone pizza hut and book a booth

Am confused now. I thought your Sat 19-Sep-09 17:43:53 post confirmed date of 28 November, based on which I booked a non-refundable hotel room.

sorry Athena. yes 28th is the date.

i confirmed with the venue that they were available for that date and to hold it for us, which they have. i didn't want to confirm the booking until we had a few more people sign up. which we now have so i have mailed them tonight to confirm the booking.

so yes the party is

Hat & Tun on 28th Nov from 7pm and shall cost £20

I probably won't know anyone there either - I've never been to one of these before (was way too pregnant last year) but I went to a small meet of mnetters with bumps when I was pregnant, and it was nice to meet other mnetters. I can't remember their real names though, so if I ever bump into them in the street I'll have to use their posting names
