Ok.
WE really need to get this sorted if we are to hold a party this year.
As it seems i've somehow managed to volunteer to organise it we figuered we'd just go back to the Hat & Tun as last year's do was so succesfull.

We have a preliminary date of the 28th November.

Last year everyone paid £20 towards venue hire and food ( which was delicious) so if everyone is agree'd we will just do that agin this year.

so if everyone that is interested in coming could PLEASE list your names on this thread so that we know this will be a viable event.

otherwise i need to phone pizza hut and book a booth

from what I remember the ramp to get in will not be your only issue. The toilet cubicles are very small, in fact I seem to have memories of falling about laughing at a certain organiser having got stuck in the cubicle trying to sort her skirt out and being on watch for the rest of the night so she didn't get stuck again. I may be wrong, but I'm sure they were small.
Obviously the ramp can be sorted but perhaps KBear could investigate further?

And for those of you worried about being shy etc, I was, and it soon vanished when I walked into a pub to meet some of the ladies before the venue and a chorus of "Pillock" went up , lots of strange looks from the rather scary looking regulars followed
This year I shall be sticking with the abbreviation and taking the Pirates theme!

I'm looking forward to responding when someone calls Mo or Maureen! I have a Maureen at work and it I always turn my head when someone calls her, then realise they don't mean me!
