Anybody fancy meeting up for a coffee/lunch/playtime with/without kids - I have 2 ds - age 3 years and 10 months. I am surprised how nervous I am doing this!

I am in Manchester but Liverpool is only an hour away and if its an open invitation I would love to come. I can probably come alone (sounds very secretive!) if DH will have the boys (age 19 months and 3 so he's a bit nervous of having them for more that a couple of hours!!), but could definately come (date permitting) if it was with kids (easier). I will keep looking to see which date you choose.

Hello all

I think I have something on the 5th as well but can make any other weekend. Have we decided to keep it child free? I have a slight preference for this at the weekend as it is nice to have a break and dh appreciates me more when he had ds1 and 2 all to himself for a period of time! But happy with the majority decision.

Luchar - of course it is an open invitation to you and anybody else who wants to join us.

AliP - happy to meet up next week. We are away from saturday until Tuesday night, but am happy to meet later in the week. Can we make the arrangements off-line as concerned re voyourism! Can you contact me via technical services before Saturday so we can make arrangements. Obviously if anybody else can make it let us know - Leander are you off during the day? AliP - let us know what you think of the book.

Shall we go for the 12th of July then folks?
I have preference for a kids-free meet as we can pay more attention to each other.

Hope you can join us Luchar

Ali P enjoy your last day at work and good luck-don't forget to let us all know when your bundle has arrived

Leander good to hear things aren't too bad-you put me to shame on the thread"what has your child had for tea tonight"
Hi to all other mumsnetters at the recent meet up

leander · 21/05/2003 23:09

Hi all,
Chatee- he doesn't eat like that all the time i am just trying to diet so we are eating more veg fresh food instead of bunging stuff in the oven like i usually do.I am doing the race for life as well but in my case it will be the walk for life,I'm doing that on the 30th june i think.
Eyelash, yes I am off during the day so could probably meet up sometime with ds.
Luchar it would be lovely if you could join us next time.

Thanks everyone - I will try to come along. I work for a cancer charity myself so am very impressed with Leander and Chatee doing the Race for Life - different charity but same cause! Well done!

Can I creep in? I live between Manchester and Liverpool and so could potentially do either. Will keep checking back.
