Littlefish - have been checking and it's supposed to snow overnight/tomorrow again. Not optimistic about my flights - it's a long enough trip with the kids without delays and diversions thrown in.

Furball - do you think it would be prudent to postpone it? At least then we can give the Swan notice, and everyone can cancel babysitters

shall we delay until the 27th then? (that was the other popular day)

(envious of your sledging - am sat on sofa with post-puke dd2 and not allowed to move at the mo)

I could do the 27th too if it ends up being then. I've got a 7 foot snowman in my garden, and ds1 has been skiing down the road!

I should still be able to come on the 27th. I am now off to make snowmen in the garden - tis a bit risky though as the neighbours cat keeps pooing on our lawn & vegetable patches!

Postponing sounds like the best option especially as its forecast to snow again and/or freeze tonight.

I'll have to get back to you about the 27th -I need to chase up DP as he may/may not be here. Will let you know as soon as he pulls his finger out and organises himself a bit better finalises his plans

Good idea. I think that I can still make 27th. By then, we might know whether we can afford the house of my dreams! I've spent 3 hours up there today, having a good look around with the builders.

In this case sensible was definitely the right way to go!

We've had loads of snow during the night (in fact its still snowing now) so we'll be out sledging again if the bruises on my backside from yesterday can stand it.

Although I do have a hairdressers appt. this morning so I might have a long, snowy walk to town and back first

snowing here too, so we're off sledging again. No bruised bum yesterday for me, luckily I have built in padding!
