Wot it's only small but is ok for your ds' age. Dh takes Lew a lot while i'm at work.

And yes it's Mapplewell.

We're sat on beanbags and camping chairs now, the freecycle people picked our old sofa up yesterday so we're just waiting for our new one now. Not got a delivery date yet but when i ordered it last week they said delivery would be within 2 weeks.

How is everyone?

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 26/02/2009 14:49

Hope it comes soon, Phoenix.
Is Funworld expensive to get into, or the usual £3ish. What's the seating area like for the grown-ups?

Phoenix · 26/02/2009 15:02

So do i this beanbag isn't great for my back lol. When we ordered the old one it said something like 28days delivery, they rang 2 days later asking when they could deliver it so we had to decorate in about 3 days before it came when we thought we had 4 weeks to do it in. So we thought it'd be about the same this time cos the new one is from Argos too.

Funworld is £4 dh thinks. It had gone up last time he went. Seating area ok and they do tea, coffee etc. and snacks.

wotulookinat · 26/02/2009 15:34

I might give it a try soon then.
Ds doesn't seem to be too well today. He's been quiet and every so often goes and sits on the sofa with his sickie blanket.

hiccymapops · 27/02/2009 10:34

Hello

Spoke too soon yesterday, Ben was waking up as i was typing!

I'm not sure exactly how much it is to get in Wot, i always buy a drink and snacks when i pay in, but i know she said it's free next time i go as they sign a loyalty slip every time you go in. Phoenix is probably right with the £4.

How's Dennis today? Hope he hasn't come down with anything.

How's your back Phoenix? Did you get something warm to put on it? You could have that cuddly i bought, it smells too much of lavendar for me, so i haven't used it. I hate lavendar.

Hope everyone else is okay xxx (i'm stuck in waiting for shopping to arrive!)

Phoenix · 27/02/2009 10:47

Hi Hiccy. Yes i got a wheat bag but it doesn't really do much. When i went back to work the other week for 2 days it left me in absolute agony so i went to the docs and he signed me off for a month . It's still hurty but so much better without work. When i do go back to work i'll be on light duties til i go on maternity leave.

Hope ds is ok today Wot

Ds is in pants today . He thinks i don't have any nappies left so he agreed to try pants. No wees yet though and he's been in them nearly 2hrs. I keep asking him and he says he doesn't need to go . I've got a supply of spare pants, stickers and chocolate

Hope ds does well Phoenix.

Anyone fancy a meetup next week?

hiccymapops · 27/02/2009 11:36

I bought some little pants for Ben last week, they're soooooooo cute I haven't tried toilet training him yet though. Hope all goes well with your ds

I'm okay for meeting up next week. Are you looking forward to getting out and about easier with your new pram Knickers? What colour did you order? I've got the apple green one, i thought i'd get a bright colour as his other prams are neutral, but it's more like flipping lime green! Wish i'd toned down a bit.

wotulookinat · 27/02/2009 12:11

Hi all. Dennis seems fine, thank Hiccy. He perked up as soon as Jon got home

Is anyone about to go to CM this afternoon? We were going to meet Knickers but she can't make it anymore. I stupidly told Dennis we were going to meet Knickers and he could play with her DD so he's gone to bed happily thinking we'll be going when he gets up. I'm dreading telling him that she won't be there.

Knickers0nMaHead · 27/02/2009 12:34

Yeah really looking forward to getting out more. Going to start walking now and try and lose some weight and meet up with people more often.
I got the red one. I really like the green one though
we are having someone coming to check the house over at 3pm that we only got a letter about at 10.30 that's why I cant make it today as have to sort it out and get it all clean and tidy.
Hiccy, did L text you yesterday?

wotulookinat · 27/02/2009 12:49

You two will have your lovely posh new buggys and I'll look like a right scruff by comparison with our one!

Knickers0nMaHead · 27/02/2009 17:23

We've just got back from a walk down the canal. I nearly keeled over walking up the hill home, really outta shape

Wot, dont you be getting the pushchair bug now

Knickers0nMaHead · 27/02/2009 18:27

We are on night 3 of no bedtime dummy, dd isnt bothered at all by it thankfully

mushumadness · 27/02/2009 19:31

hiya
sorry Im barely around, Morgans got teething according to the doc plus infant exma or however you spell it, so all the baby bath etc I have for him is no good, I have loads of bottles so I think Im gonna freecycle

bought him a bottle of e45 bubble bath and a bottle of e45 baby wash £9!

I go to the wacky warehouse on a monday afternoon till 2.30if anybody else does?

Knickers0nMaHead · 27/02/2009 20:24

Which Wacky Warehose do you go to MushU?

wotulookinat · 27/02/2009 20:45

Pssst, Mushu, no need to Freecyle - I'll happily make good use of any baby bath you have
Can't make Mondays, I'm afraid, as I go to a Stay and Play session, otherwise I would come along. Although I do find that the close proximity of alcohol to the Wacky is dangerous for me!!!!!
Knickers, it's probably lucky that Dennis is as old as he is because otherwise I might get the pushchair bug, but only because I've caught it from you!!
BTW, Tesco have a baby event on, so lots of good offers on baby stuff there.

mushumadness · 27/02/2009 21:35

well Im mad I advertised some toys and nappies on netmums and someone said they were coming tonight and they havnt. Could have sold the nappies three times over but said no because they were coming
argh now my kitchens full of toys and nappie

wotulookinat · 27/02/2009 22:50

How annoying. Can you email the other people that enquired?

Knickers0nMaHead · 27/02/2009 23:20

for you MushU!

mushumadness · 28/02/2009 07:38

did u send a pm if so where does it go lol

Knickers0nMaHead · 28/02/2009 10:28

Mn dont do pm's. They have CAT (contact another talker) messages. You can only send/receive them if you have subscribed which is a yearly fee of £5

wotulookinat · 28/02/2009 17:21

If you mean on NetMums, Mushu, across the middle-ish of the screen, it'll say Welcome Mushu 0 private messages. When you have a message it will show you the number of messages and you click there.

Knickers0nMaHead · 01/03/2009 12:24

Afternoon everyone.

mushumadness · 01/03/2009 13:09
