Knickers i cried my eyes out at Bens first jabs, i think i'll probably have hardened up a bit this time (hopefully)

Have you tried leaning on a hot water bottle Phoenix? Or one of those cuddlies you can heat in the microwave? I had one of those and it sometimes made me a bit more comfortable, for a bit anyway.

Phoenix · 04/02/2009 15:51

Not yet Hiccy but i'm gonna get one because i've been reading the internet this morning (i know you shouldn't do things like that) and i think i might not have sciatica but pelvic girdle pain it describes my symptoms perfectly. I've read somewhere that hot water bottle will help.

I had to get my mum to hold DS at his first jabs, and then DH took him to the others because I was back at work.

Phoenix, I had one of those support belts when I was pregnant (the doctor ordered it from the physiotherapy unit at hospital) and it did help, but looked like a torture instrument and it was a really hot summer (2006) so I couldn't bear to wear it, but it might be something worth looking into.

mushumadness · 05/02/2009 08:00

morning

Morgans got his second set of jabs next week.

We are off to see the hv today as hes eating loads! 7oz every hours!

also wanna check his weight.

we have snow again, which means an afternoon of sledging, (we dont do hills though we do me pulling the kids!)

wotulookinat · 05/02/2009 08:46

Morning mushu. Yep lots of snow again here in central Wakey
Let us know how much he weighs now.

Phoenix · 05/02/2009 10:35

Bloody snow!! Hope i can get back to pick Lewis up.

Mush - If this baby is a girl i think we're gonna call her Morgan, that's if i can stop thinking of it more as a boys name and stop worrying about it been unisex

wotulookinat · 05/02/2009 12:31

did you get to Lewis ok?

Phoenix · 05/02/2009 13:03

Yes, it wasn't as bad at pick up time. It was awful when i took him. We took a detour to KFC on the way home mmmm

mushumadness · 05/02/2009 13:09

phoenix, everyone told me it was a girls name when I chose it lol

Morgan weighed in at 16lb exactly today and hes 14 weeks old today as well lol

wasnt impressed with the hv, she wants me to make his normal 7oz bottle, then add another 2oz of just water! so hows that gonna help if hes hungry? crazy woman.

I started baby rice yesterday, hes a big baby and he woofed it down. and slept last night as well.

the weather rough isnt it, roads in ryhill are shocking. we are like the land time forgot lol

wotulookinat · 05/02/2009 13:16

16lb is a good weight. Hope to meet you soon and have a cuddle

Phoenix · 05/02/2009 13:17

Really Mush lol.

Just looked in ds' red book at 14wk he was 17lb 10.5oz

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 05/02/2009 13:19

I would have a look in DS's book, but I don't have a clue where it is! In a safe place, no doubt, which I guess is where my watch is currently hiding.

mushumadness · 05/02/2009 13:30

wow thats big lol

they keep telling me hes on the 95th centile, as hes tall too,

who knows lol

all I do know is he goes through clothes at a fast rate

hiccymapops · 05/02/2009 15:10

Hello

Mark's taken munchkin for his jabs as i don't want to drive in this, and Ben's just got up from his nap so we couldn't all go

Mine are big tall lads too Mush, Luke's already in 3-6 months clothes, god knows how much he weighs now, he was 12lb 10oz a couple of weeks ago!

Just looked in Bens book and he was 17lb 2oz at 14 weeks. I think girls tend to be a lot smaller

wotulookinat · 05/02/2009 15:59

Yes Ben is lovely and tall.

mushumadness · 05/02/2009 16:01

ahh reading your boys weights are making me feel alot better lol I thought he was abnormal lol

he was 8lb 10 at birth and dropped to 8lb 2oz

not bad for 3 weeks early

wotulookinat · 05/02/2009 16:03

My DS was 7lb6oz at birth and dropped over a pound in his first week. Then he was always a bit of a chunk until about 20months - he's just normal now, if a bit short.

Phoenix · 05/02/2009 16:35

Lewis was 9lb 2oz when he was born.

OP posts:
SexyLacyKnickersOnMaHead · 05/02/2009 18:12

DS weighed 9lb 11oz at birth and was 10lb odd at his 10day check. Not had him weighed for ages though.

wotulookinat · 05/02/2009 18:26

You should take him to see what he is now, Knickers. I thought when DS was born that you HAD to go every two weeks for the first 6 months. I was slightly paranoid...

SexyLacyKnickersOnMaHead · 05/02/2009 19:11

No you dont have to.

I will take him in the next month (or so) just to see what he weighs. I know he i putting weight on though so there is no need to worry about him

He has his second lot of jabs next Tuesday Morning the I have ww in the evening.

trace2 · 05/02/2009 19:19
