It not so much in my back but very definitely in my left bum cheek . It's been niggling for a few weeks but really starting to hurt when i walk. Don't tell me it could last my whole pregnancy if it is sciatica.

Phoenix, I had it on the top left of my bum, sort of lower back. It lasted until DS was born. I saw a physiotherapist about it, and she said it was just weak muscles being put under stress, and that I could do some exercises to ease it a bit but that it wouldlast all the way though the pregnancy By the time I was 7 months gone I couldn't walk more than a few metres.

hiccymapops · 02/02/2009 21:32

Hiya

Getting on here and actually having chance to write anything is a nightmare! I'm sure Luke can sense when i switch the computer on

Hope you're not suffering too much Phoenix, i really struggled with my lower back and cocycix (sp too!) this time too. I'm excited for you about the scan

Hiya MushUMadness I'm from Ryhill too, i've got two boys, Ben who's 2, and Luke who's 7 weeks.

Hope eveyone's okay xxx

wotulookinat · 02/02/2009 21:46

We're all fine, apart from the stray dog that is now in the garage and who won't stop barking. Poor old thing is freezing.

hiccymapops · 02/02/2009 21:49

Have you adopted another dog, or has is he just trying to adopt you?

wotulookinat · 02/02/2009 21:51

He was wandering in the road inthe snow earlier and has taken a shine to us. There's no way we could keep him - we already have two and he's a big dog.

mushumadness · 03/02/2009 09:26

hiya hiccymapops

nice to meet someone from Ryhill

Morgans 14 weeks this week cant believe it, hes our only one lol, but Im a childminder so theres always kids around my house, wouldnt have it any other way

Im snowed in today lol, I dont like driving in the ice and snow, plus its a no kids day so going to concentrate on paperwork and house work

whats everyone else doing

wotulookinat · 03/02/2009 09:36

Hi Mushu. It's good to have a new 'face' on the thread.
I've got to go into town today. I'd rather not as I am sure I'll slip over in the ice in front of hundreds of people, but I have to.
The stray dog has now gone. He was looking rather unwell last night so Jon drove him to a kennels at 10pm, in the snow! They scanned the dog and he was microchipped and they called the owners, who were quite rude and not at all pleased. The dog is diabetic and they were cross that we fed him. Maybe they should have put a tag on his collar and we could have rung them straight away. Or they could have not let him wander off...

hiccymapops · 03/02/2009 09:55

Morning all

That's awful of the owners Wot, you'd have thought they'd just be relieved to have him back, i would be. It was nice of you and Jon to look out for him though, not everyone would.

Mush, have you noticed Ryhill seems to get more snow than everywhere else? I think the gritters give us a miss

Mark got snowed off work yeserday so we nipped out, and when we got back my car didn't want to go back up the slope behind our house, it scared me to death, i wasn't bothered about the car hitting the wall, i just wanted to get the little monsters out first

I'm not driving till it's all gone! I refuse to drive in snow too, so we're also housedbound.

wotulookinat · 03/02/2009 10:07

It's ok when you get to a main road, but I guess that's quite a way from Ryhill. My estate is just ice and you slip everywhere. Not nice.

Hi Knickers I've just put grumpy pants down for a nap so will be over this afternoon, if that's ok.

Phoenix · 03/02/2009 11:41

Hello all

We're staying in all day too. No pre-school for ds this morning due to the crappy weather. Ds is so tired and i'm sick of hearing him tell me that he's tired but he will not give in and go to sleep. I've just put his dinner on then once he's eaten it i'm gonna make him go in his pushchair to sleep rather than him lieing on the sofa where he just ends up watching tv and not sleeping.

How is everyone?

OP posts:
wotulookinat · 03/02/2009 11:46

we're all fine here. DS has just dropped off so I am going to have anice long shower in a minute and then I'll be ready to head out once he wakes up.
Phoenix, do you know where I can buy decent summer pjs for DS? Got loads on winter ones but now I want to stock up for the summer.

I shall keep my eyes open for you. Is it 18-24 or 2-3 for DD? And 9-12 for DS?
