Lunch in the City - Thurs 14th April

Let's try for a Thursday this time. (Dinosaur am keeping fingers crossed that you can make this one .)

The next city lunch will be at Pizza Pomodoro - very close to Liverpool St Station, 5 minutes walk from Moorgate. Date - Thursday 14th April at 12:30.

Anybody welcome, just post here to confirm.

yes - but six years ago now, and it's been poshed up since then, so this isn't up to date: but, on balance:

• ante-natal care bit of an assembly line - if you're obviously able to take care of yourself, aware of the system, speak English well, no particular complications - you may feel "waved through" and paid v little attention;

• birth facilities medically very good, of course - but again that means there are other people around who might be competing for the care available (in labour with ds I was "sharing" a midwife with someone at 23 weeks, and undoubtedly she had the greater claim);

• post-natal: I really hope it's improved. It was like a bus station, horrid. Take a tour and see; or, of course, if you're on no. 3 you may be so likely to be out within hours of delivery that what the post-natal is like is immaterial.

(I had no. 2 at St. Mary's too ... but in the Lindo Wing - saved up for it. That was lovely ..)

So I am in work on a Thursday Grrrrrrr.....and work has bombed my diary double Grrrrrrr.......so I can't come today. Very sorry as it looks like a huge laugh and just what I needed.....

Anyway will catch up on the May one when my bump may be a bit bigger - it is still pitiful at 21 weeks.......

Apologies, I know I kind of invited myself and DD along, but DD has been spiking a temp all morning and looks set to spend the rest of the day dosed up on Calpol watching The Incredibles on the sofa. Was looking forward to meeting you all. Will watch out for any other meet in the near future.

sorry for crashing the lunch, i just saw a gap in my diary and lunged...
due to the chips i consumed at lunch, i walked all the way up the big escalator at holborn..still panting
