Just wondered if anyone in Wales fancied the idea of a meetup - I know there was one in Bath last year, and I think there's more of us in Wales now - star & bron of course and I think jac34 and I'm sure there's at least a couple of others.
I haven't got any set ideas of where/when/what, just thought I'd dip my toe in the water and see what the interest is.

How about an xmas meet up for us girls ???
Shall we arrange something, or do you fancy a trip to London for the big one ??

cerys · 07/10/2003 14:23

Jac34, emsiewill, Bron and everyone else! I was just thinking of resurrecting this thread when I saw that jac had posted at the end of August and I missed it.
Anyway, I would love to meet up again before Christmas and am happy to come to Cardiff as I guess Bron will be bringing DS2 with her? I am working 18th October but have nothing else planned as yet. I think I'd find it easier to sort out a South Wales trip than London.
Hope you're all well!

Just trying to make this thread active again! Jac34 and emsiewill, where are you?! And any other South Wales mumsnetters?

If not,it'll be me, Bron and Bron's new baby

Do you remember we were joking about me falling asleep on the train and ending up in Fishguard? Well, we actually went there for a little holiday and had a great time, despite the wind and rain. The weather was brilliant just prior to and immediately after our visit...

jac34 · 25/10/2003 17:20

Hi girls,
Sorry I didn't notice your posts, we've been away for a couple of weekends , also off line for a while as well.
Would be happy to meet up, don't mind when !!

How about the end of November? I can't do 13th December (Saturday) but most other dates are OK. 22nd November or 29th?

We had an IKEA catalogue through the letterbox yesterday - can't wait for it to open. Although the M4 will be chocablock with people from Swansea and the west heading in the direction of Grangetown!

Bron - hope you're having a good time.

Still no sign of emsiewill, although she has posted on other threads. I guess we could always use "contact another talker"

emsiewill · 29/10/2003 16:29

Sorry, sorry, not been around much lately - tend to look at "last day" messages when I'm here, so missed this until now. Can do 22nd (or 23rd) Nov, but not 29th.
Wonder if we'll get any "new" Welsh mumsnetters (not wishing to restart the debate about who's new and who's old)

I could do the 22nd/23rd as well, so thats a poss. date. Also can't do 13th December.

it would be nice to meet some more Welsh mumsnetters - wonder of any are lurking?!

Hi all. I'm new to posting here, but would love to come along. Am in Swansea, so no problem getting to Cardiff, with baby in tow.

She's 6 months. I'd rather bring her with me than leave her at home as I'm back to work a week later and am filling the freezer with as much ebm as poss. Anyway the 22nd would be lovely, though I have no idea where Ask is in Cardiff. Directions from the train station please!

cerys · 10/11/2003 08:50

hi all - yes I'll be there!

Mimiasovitch - if you want to contact me via Mumsnet (see the contact another talker link at the top of the page), I can meet you somewhere if you're not sure where Ask is.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. And if there are 2 babies there, I'll be joining Jac34 in the broody corner! Well, DD2 is nearly 18 months now..!

cerys · 11/11/2003 15:21

Let's have a roll call for 22nd:

cerys, mimiasovitch, Bron, jac34 and emsiewill so far. (and 2 babies!)

Anyone else?

Bron - hope you're Ok and that we see you soon.

Is everyone else still Ok for 22nd or should we reschedule?

poor Bron - hope you get lots of TLC from your parents.

What shall we do? If we reschedule, I can't do 29th November or 13th December. What does everyone else think?

If we do meet this Saturday, we probably need to book or it might be full and we'll end up eating chips by the Hayes Snack Bar (if it's still there!)

emsiewill · 18/11/2003 22:58

Hi all. Really sorry, but I won't be able to make Saturday - the girls are going to a party and dh is working, so I have to take them. Can't do 29th or 6th Dec. I think you'll have to arrange to go ahead without me.

OP posts:
cerys · 19/11/2003 08:41

jac34 and mimiasovitch - shall we just reschedule? I'd love to see everyone again, and as Bron and emsiewill can't make it, that leaves 3 of us!

We are running out of Saturdays before Christmas - I suppose we could do a Sunday again?
