Okay, for all those that begged for a tuesday on the february meet-up thread .... the next city lunch will be at Pizza Pomodoro - very close to Liverpool St Station, 5 minutes walk from Moorgate. Date - Tuesday 15th March at 12:30.

Anybody welcome, just post here to confirm.

SO maybe you can tell me that I am mad to even think about coming back to work with littles in the Big Bad City. >Sigh

dinosaur · 24/02/2005 12:22

Yes, although I am a PSL now and not a fee-earner.

Tiggus · 24/02/2005 12:25

Is that a better position to be in as a mummy?

I have promised myself will look for jobs and would love to work again, but get the heebie jeebies when I think about 70 hr weeks ....

dinosaur · 24/02/2005 12:27

bundle · 24/02/2005 12:28

Tiggus · 24/02/2005 12:30

No sorry I am using this thread to air my work fears.

Sorry for hijacking . I ought to sort this out on another thread or in RL was just interested in opinions on City job juggling.

dinosaur · 24/02/2005 12:32

Not at all, Tiggus. There was a brilliant although rather depressing thread on this a while ago, which I might try and find for you.

Hope this works. Lots of stuff about working women in the City.

Marina · 24/02/2005 12:45

I'll definitely try and make this one, thanks for organising, Kayleigh!

soapbox · 24/02/2005 12:48

Oooooh! I've never done the mumsnet meet up thing before - but I am tempted.

I recently met 2 MNs in RL and it wasn't as scarey as I thought

MMmmm I'll think about it and let you know.

HandbagAddiction · 24/02/2005 12:50

Me, me, me please?! Kayleigh - do you think you could get your boss to buy you another handbag for me to fawn over..!!....

dinosaur · 24/02/2005 12:51

This is getting worse and worse!!!!! I'm sooooo missing out here!

HandbagAddiction · 24/02/2005 12:53

Can't you just pull a 'sickie' and then just come and meet us instead???

dinosaur · 24/02/2005 12:56

No, it's costing over £600 to go to the conference...

Marina · 24/02/2005 14:19

Oh do come Soapbox, there is at least one other SE Londoner to gossip about schools with It would be lovely to meet you.

Tiggus · 24/02/2005 17:38
