sorry, me being a bit thick. baby had bacterial meningitis diagnosed so is on massive doses of iv antibiotics. hooray for the nhs!

awww bless his little cottons. I really do sympathise because DS was born with meningitis and was in special care for two weeks - i know how worrying this time can be.

Ah, thank you. Am back at home to do bits and pieces (i.e. banking etc, NOT mumsnet...)then off to hospital in a bit. Think he is getting better every day

Hello ladies! Is someone new welcome on this thread? I live in Strood, so would love to meet some local MNers. I'm quite new in the area - DP and I moved here beginning of June to be near his family now we have DC1 on the way. Now officially one day overdue though.Would be nice to meet some mums round here, as 1 my friends live in London 2 None of my friends have kids.

morning. my head is fine suprisingly little bit hoarse, but as i went out not feeling particularly well, have nasty cough aggravating my asthma, dont think thats too bad. had lots of fun in the pub with karaoke. dont go near the mikes just sing very badly along at the bar
