All set for tomorrow? Please let me know if I'm going to be alone, approaching stray parents with a look of desperation in my eyes....

haha!! Yup, still on this end! I'll be there from around 10.15 as i'm meeting up with stillfat first (she may have to leave at around 11 for her DD's nap) so i'll be the first there no doubt!

stroppyknickers · 03/07/2008 19:53

Ok, I'll come from the school run and wander around the high street first.

I'm the big bird with short blonde hair and big roots lol. DD's pushchair is red and black and we'll no doubt be gathered around the tables. It's not a big place and probs wont be busy then either. I'll see if they'll let us put some tables together.

stroppyknickers · 04/07/2008 07:51

ruby just arrived home, and they not weird at all. really nice bunch of ladies and children. dd keeps asking for her friend the boy (think she means stroppys ds2 they played lovely together)you should come next time

RGPargy · 04/07/2008 16:45

So glad we met up today! Cant believe we ALL turned up!! What a brilliant turn out it was and all the DCs behaved so well.

I'm glad we're now officially not classified as weirdos!

I think when we parted the general consensus was that we would love to meet again so if everyone's up for it, i reckon we should meet up again the week after next? I dont mind the same location or if anyone has any other options then please let us know.

What do you think?

Well Ruby i think it would be rude not to have at least one weirdo in the bunch!

stroppyknickers · 04/07/2008 16:52

LOL Dylsmum - ds2 keeps on about (badly mispronounced) your dd!
RG - can't believe I was worried on the weirdo front - didn't occur to me that I might be one!
Week after next great. Suggest a date/day/time - ds in nursery til 12.20 tues/w/t. Can miss it...

Gr8, Ruby. DH will be v disappointed if one of you is not a god subject for his humourous meeting yr internet weirdo friends 'jokes'.

PS Sorry for introducing sugar to the children. Can I still come if I leave the fags and alkie breath at home next time...

OP posts:
dylsmum1998 · 04/07/2008 18:20

'stroppy' hehe i didnt realise it you had taught your ds to 'push' sugar to the other kids clever!!
dd loved her mouse she was fascinated by it played with it for a little before biting his head off..

RGPargy · 04/07/2008 20:33

Stroppy - didn't think you were the weird one!! I think we should leave the "weirdo" job to Ruby, who has so heartily nominated herself.

Dont worry re the sugar thing lol. I've just realised that i now have a melting KitKat in the pocket of my buggy in the boot of my car. I will fish it out at some point with caution (this weather!!). I might have to put it in the fridge and give it to me DD to have with her cup of tea milk.

stroppyknickers · 05/07/2008 08:58

LOL RG. Like I ate helped ds to finish his jellybeans. Will not confess how much rubbish treatfood I bought in the old fashioned sweetshop. Glad I have hooked your ds on sugarmice dylsmum!

OP posts:
RGPargy · 05/07/2008 14:37

Do you know, i daren't go in that sweet shop because i just KNOW i'd come out with half a ton of bloody fudge!!!!
