Can you try and work out an August meet now so there is plenty of notice for me and Scorpio?

17th July pm works for me too! I will do the other bit when I have some energy (prob not before 17th July)

Sagitta - I was hoping the same about the DDs. I was thinking that maybe a park is not such a good idea for the mobile ones. Need somewhere we can trap put them in high chairs!

DD1 is a right pita at the moment, and not great anywhere, but somewhere that sells juice, that comes in a glass (the more breakable, the better), with a pink straw will do us!

yup looks good. 2pm worked quite well last time - we didn't have any problem getting a table etc. and had a reasonable run getting home before rush. Are we thinking of Canteen again? or want to try somewhere different? I like Canteen so would be v happy to go back there

Please excuse the butting in, but if you haven't posted about this on Mumsnet Local may we graciously suggest that you do so! (Can you tell we've been asked to remind you lot about it?)

When you have the facility for general "London" Mumsnet Local threads I'm sure we would be delighted to do so... but as we all live in different boroughs there would be a lot of single-person threads and single-person meet-ups that way at present...

I'd be happy with Canteen too if we aren't feeling imaginative.

Denny, Sheds & I met for lunch yesterday and were talking about coming to London to an august meet up... Unfortunately it would be just tooooo expensive (about £60 each just for the train, and even that was at silly times) so we can't. We wanted to come and meet you all! Can you make London be a bit nearer to the NW please?!

Knitter, I'm so sorry to hear you can't come. However, am EXTREMELY impressed that you actually considered the train! (Here's me struggling with trips into London on occasion, and I live 30 mins away from central. )

Yes, cheaper on the coach but would take soooooo long to get there, and then back again. Denny even looked into hiring a car big enough for 3 of us, 3 car seats and 3 buggies. It wasn't that much cheaper, plus it's a good 4 hours each way. At least on the train we could play with and feed the babies whilst moving!

I really hope I will make it to meet you all tomorrow...but I have to admit that if things start to go wrong (two days on my own in London with both DCs...it could happen ) I may have to abandon the plan. Hopefully, see you tomorrow at Canteen at 2.ish.
