Stoppin - DD has just been sick (again) so not sure about tomorrow at the moment. I am hoping that she will be ok but I will confirm tomorrow AM.

I really hope she is - I am struggling to keep her entertained in this crap weather...

Hello
Sounds like everybody had a great time on Thursday at SA2's.

Nemo -how is H?

We are back from rainy Menorca, we only had 2 days of sun but I did get chance to take it easy. That is until we unpacked and have done 5 loads of washing and a big shop today. I am glad I have another week off work.

If anybody is about next week and fancies getting together, let me know.

Nemoandthefishes · 01/06/2008 07:59

MD thanks for asking H is still wheezy so they have put her on another course of steroids and also upped her montelukast tablet so should be ok soon. C has a chest infection too now and A has started with the cough!! What a nightmare about your holiday being rained out..not what you expect if you go abroad!!

Ei hope you manage to find a new job and pity you missed out on the other day would have been nice to see you.

Hope everyone else is ok!!

We are off to butlins tomorrow and trying to cap the excitment of A and H is nigh on impossible!!

Nemo - hope you got my text wishing you all a great hol - hope everyone is well enough to enjoy themselves. H never seems to let it bother her! Speak to you when you get back.

MD - glad you had a nice hol despite weather. We went to Costa del Sol at the same time last year and the weather wasn't fab, so we're going a bit further afield this year. Though I believe Menorca is supposed to be fab for little ones.

So another week off for you and then is it just a couple of weeks back until you start ML? I bet you can't wait, though I'm sure the break has helped a little.

Would love to meet up this week but really don't have the strength (see below). Will see how I am later in the week.

BL - how are you doing? No, I havn't gone mad, just a little bit of jolly singing to help me through the day.

SA2 - thank you for a lovely afternoon on Thurs. DD1 keeps saying "When I go for a sleepover at M's house, I'll..." Think your DD has a fan!

Ei - sorry you couldn't make it. GOod luck with the job hunting.

Browny, andyrobo, heifer - how are you all?

Would have posted sooner but have been quite ill with a stomach thing. Still have the hayfever but the sickness, which I feel most of the day has really wiped me out. And before anyone asks, had a BFN last week (now 5 days late, but not unusual) so it's not that but it does feel like MS. Hope not another MC, don't think could handle another one so soon. Also, much as I want another DC I hope I'm not PG (just yet). Less than 3 weeks to hols and don't want to feel like this while away.

Hi Jammy, sorry you're feeling so poorly, we all had stomach upsets which left us feeling rotten a few weeks ago, hope you feel better soon and if you are going to test again soon, I'll have my fingers crossed for you.

We're going away to Stourport with my dbrother and sister-in-law-to-be in three weeks too, taking the caravan.. the kids love it as it's a huge rally for people with Bongo's (our huge charabang of a car!).

I've got my first midwives appointment tomorrow (17 weeks), I don't even want to think what my blood pressure reading will be, because this will be the 2nd weeks the kids have had off school!.

Ds2 kept us awake all last night with earpain, took him to the docs, doc said his ear drum was very red, glands were up and his chest was wheezy.... sorry no anti-biotics!! queue emotional, tired, mum insisting that he had them...his ear infections always turn nasty, causing me to make yet another appointment and docs know that...grrr. Anway, he's taking the lovely, yellow medicine and has managed a two hour nap this afternoon .

MD - sorry the weather wasn't kind to you on your hols, but glad you had the chance to relax anyway, bet you can't wait for your M.L. to start .

Can we add a bumped head for T onto the list of injuries / illnesses??!! He was running around with his sister, and bumped on the handle of the kitchen door - which is lower than the others - so now has a big lump and imprint of the handle on his head! He also fell flat on his head yesterday which resulted in another bruise - typical boy!

The rest of us are ok - DD goes back to school tomorrow - hurray! And me back to work - Boo!!

Whats the next plan for a meet-up?? WHo is the ideas person??!!

Browny - aww poor DS2...he sounds ill...hope the med is doing the trick! and talking about Blood pressure im an expert...mine is 130/80 which is good for me as i do suffer from high blood pressure anyway. As i had the loose pelvic joint thing...now it had moved round in my fanjo so i feel bruised down there .

Well AndyR...talking about bruises/sickness etc......poor dd was on a mini-roundabout in the park and she let go as she was looking up in the sky, as she fell the roundabout bar whacked her behind her ear....it came up black but now is yellow. i felt so sick and guilty as i was the one who told her to look up in the sky but didnt know she was gonna let go! ...luckily i wasnt near the end of the pg!!!

For the meetups.....i can only meet up at weekends as no car in the week.

MD - well at least you managed to relax on ya hols instead of running around.

Nemo - hope you have a good time at Pontins ...hope DD1 will be ok

Jaamy - get well soon Best to leave the BD till youre on hols if u can hang on abit longer.

&

Ei - babydust to you too *8

How is everybody doing?

Hope you are feeling better Jaamy

browny & Bl how are your bumps?

Nemo-how was Butlins? Would you reccomend it?

Well after having 2 weeks off I am not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. At least I am back to part time and only another 3 weeks until I start maternity leave (9 working days!)

MD - hope the children are nice to you on your first day back... well, for the rest of your 9 days left! Hope you and bump are well .

I'm 18 weeks today , had my first appointment with the midwife last week and blood pressure was slightly LOW, very unusual for me as mine is always slightly high, I'm glad it's behaving itself for once! It's lovely and quiet in the house this morning, ds1 and dd2 went back to school today, they've been staying up really late while they've been on holiday, so I haven't had any time to myself at all, I hope they'll be really tired after being at school all day, so they go to bed earlier.

Biglips - how are you and your bump? When is your next scan?

Jammy, really hope you're starting to feel better, maybe the nice, warm weather will cheer you up .

Hi to everyone else... it's been quiet on here lately.x

Hello!

Sorry not been on for a while. Managing to shake off the chest/sickness bug I had after a trip to walk in centre, ABs and another BFN!

Surprised at low BP, Browny. This one's going to be a chilled out babe!

MD - 8 days to go

Nemo - how was hol?

BL - hope all ok with you.

Andy - no more bumps in your house, I hope. All the meet ups I try to organise always dive so I think I'll leave it to someone else.

Stoppin' - how're you doing? How's the BBQ recipe book coming along?

We go on hols in 12 days and the house is upside down! Finally getting round to decorating living/dining room but slowly as still recovering and DH away. Also trying to squeeze in some work - have meeting in Birmingham on wed and still going back and forth to Formby for Mum's physio, etc...

Jammy, hope you're feeling better now, sorry about the BFN, I can't remember where you said you were going on holiday, but have a wonderful time .

We're going to the Bongo Bash soon (over 200 Bongo's - our people carrier), in one huge field, it's a brillilant event with such a lovely atmosphere, I just hope that my hayfever behaves itself when we're away... I bought one of those Alergy Relief Probes from Lloyds Chemist the other day, I think it's helping, but last night my nose was dripping like a tap... hmmm, lovely, I had to find another bed to sleep in as I was keeping dh awake with all the sniffing!

Hope everyone is o.k., it's been really quiet on here lately .

Hi Browny!

Have you tried a bit of vaseline under your nose - it's supposed to trap the pollen before it gets up your nose. Takes a bit of getting used to but helped me when I was dying of hayfever when pg with DD1. Have fun at the Bongo Bash. Sounds fab.

We're going to Lanzarote a week on Sunday. The girls are soooo excited. Will be a BD-fest cos I'm determined to bring home a little bean with me! God help anyone in the next room. Just got to get all this work and decorating out of the way before then!

Stoppin - DOes that mean the drinks are on you???? Congrats on being houseless (well one of them anyway).

'fraid will have to leave you to the fake Tapas planning as I will be eating the real thing from SUnday onwards

Don't suppose you lot can wait 2 weeks so I can come and show off my lack of tan?! Nah, didn't think so!

Andy - your poor little man. Lots of sympathy for his poor sore mouth but how dare he deny you your sleep!
