bump?

oooggs · 10/03/2005 16:16

Sorry guys but can't make Mondays due to college and DH shifts. Too soon to take time off work. So arrange it between yourselves and if I can make it, then it will be a bonus (for me anyway).

Hi everyone... new to mumsnet, only discovered it last week. I'm 27 and have a 20mth old son and live in Barnstaple. Good to hear from other fellow Sou' Wester mums... Just read all the (104!!) messages and it seems there are quite alot of us...any meet ups in N Devon area and count me in.
Now I know you're all here I'll be loggin in more often

Laura032004 · 23/05/2005 09:48

Just bumping this up! We're still doing sing and sign on a Tuesday, but just on an as and when we can make it basis this term, as with one thing and another we've already missed 5 classes!

So... could make a Tuesday now if that's still your only free day oooggs.

DS is now walking too - fabulous at first, then just tiring

Where to meet up? I'm fairly easy - shall we try the play place in St Austell?

Could you make that swissmiss? Could you get there wobblystarryknicks? If not, bee3 and I could probably work out picking you up between us.

swissmiss78 · 25/05/2005 12:11

Hi

Just looked at the map and St Austell seems a way away - probably a couple hours so I won't be able to make it. let us know how you get on...
Laura - it's great when they start to walk - you wait until your ds can 'run'... my son aged 22 months is a little sprinter, thank goodness for reigns! lol
have a great time

oooggs · 12/06/2005 17:57

Hi Laura, Can probably make Mondays or Tuesdays now depending on DH shifts as his college has nearly finished. Hope you and DS are well. DS was 18mths yesterday, where has it gone?????

So shall we set a date??

Hia oooggs! 18 months! Wow - it does fly by doesn't it! We're all fine down in lovely sunny Cornwall!

Well Mondays would be a bit better for us, so we can still get to sing and sign. We're free any Monday though. Could you make next Monday (20th?) or would the one after be better?

oooggs · 14/06/2005 22:49

Hi Laura, colleges finishes soon so my next avaliable Monday would be 4 July. (If you can wait that long ) Would be great to catch up again, not sure if wobbyknicks is around much at the moment, she doesn't seem to be posting. Once we have arranged, if she doesn't respond I will email her.

4th July sounds fine to me! I've not seen wobblyknicks around either. I'll give bee3 a shout and see if she's available that day.

Another place that we've heard is good is the Screech Owl Sanctuary - nr Wadebridge I think. My next door neighbour went and said that all of their owls have been raised in captivity so they're tame.. and like being stroked! I'm sure all of our boys (and wsk's dd) would love that!

oooggs · 15/06/2005 19:34

Well Laura I have picked the date so you choose the destination. Maybe some of the others will catch this if we keep bumping it up
