I'm having troubles tracking down any MN'ers in my area (the Local section seems to have been abandonned) so thought I'd try here!

That sounds Ok, do you want to come here or shall we meet up in town somewhere?
I can make cake and stuff if we're here though and the kids can make as much mess as they like (I'll make Dh clean it up after cos he's off for another week now and it'll make use of him )

kyala · 21/02/2008 22:53

Yup that's cool, I'll be around either way, although can't guarantee the brownies will last until Monday!! (I'm meant to be on a diet you know!!)
What kind of doggy was he?

OP posts:
bethoo · 22/02/2008 09:13

they are both boxers. i have put them on my profile page if you want to have a look. with the baby in the middle he is the one on the left looking at the ball

captainmummy · 22/02/2008 13:13

Hi Girls - I have been lurking because I used to live in durrington (went to school there) so I know where you are - also my friend had 2 boxers, who then went on to have 8 puppies (9 tho one died ) and it ws vvvv hard to come away without one when I went to see them Pedigree and all they were.

bethoo · 22/02/2008 14:44

captainmummy -she was not from Tidworth was she??

captainmummy · 22/02/2008 16:04

No she lived in Redhill at the time, close to whre I live now. She's moved to scotland now tho. She kept one of the pups, so she now has 3 boxers. They are really big strong dogs, she gets pulled about all over the moors

bethoo · 22/02/2008 17:48

captainmummy - i had that problem until i got haltis/gentle leader and now they no longer pull. well he does not pull since the other passed on wednesday.

captainmummy · 22/02/2008 18:51

Bethoo - for you.

kyala · 22/02/2008 23:57

Hi there, Bethoo the brownies have left the building but Dh has bought me some brownie mix to make up for Monday, if you're still coming round, so we'll have more for then (I'm not going to make them until I get the nod from you though as I don't think my "diet" will cope with any more brownies and no excuses! )

Captainmummy: I lived in Durrington when I was younger and went to school there too, how old are you? (Just being nosey! )
