I'm def going Thursday - mornings are just better for me all round as it also means that I can try to persuade DS2 to have a nap in the aft so have a moment to myself!

Heppychick has a 10month DS - well, she also has two strapping 25year olds too but can't imagine they will be coming to play

ItsPotatoesForYouMyLad · 04/02/2008 21:03

i'll have a think. have to work out when to do the supermarket if not on thurs am. we go to bfg friday am and on regular playdate fri pm, library books are due back this week too... how can a 2yo's diary be so busy!!!

HeppyChick · 04/02/2008 21:20

Evening all. Now I'm very confused, where are we going on Thursday? I know some of the ladies are going somewhere on Thursday pm but too late for my DS3. What time on Thursday?

fatzak · 04/02/2008 21:28

Didn't we say we'd go to Jellybeans or have I imagined that in a drunken haze

I think there's a big meet up on Friday pm but i can't really make that one.

Was that your new alarm this morning Heppychick? Heard an alarm, then a car speeding off so sat up bolt upright nudging DH chuntering manically "They've got their cars again" I hope it was an early morning over reaction

fatzak · 04/02/2008 21:29

Oh and how about 10.30 on Thursday??

HeppyChick · 04/02/2008 21:35

Oh god, I'm really, really sorry. That was my DH, he set the bloody alarm off bringing the buggy in from the car and then he had made himself late. I bet everyone hates us because it went off at 3.30 the other night too! We just can't get the hang of the thing. Arsehole burglars. Now then 10.30 is great for me as DS3 will have woken from his morning nap by then.

HeppyChick · 04/02/2008 21:38

My friends are coming up from London this weekend to clear the garage of a load of tat antiques they bought for their house, promising us it would just be for two weeks, four months later...

HeppyChick · 04/02/2008 21:39

my point being that the garage will be cleared for DH's car so hopefully they won't be back. I was awake all night last night plotting revenge (pointless) and stressing about where I would hide the baby if they were to come back whilst DH is away, again pointless overreation!

trace2 · 05/02/2008 09:02

I'm giving up prawn stew for Lent. Should be easy...

MmeCellophane · 05/02/2008 10:33

Hi all.

Fatzak - sorry I didn't get back to you about KidZone... I didn't have enough time to start a new thread on Saturday, and I've been under the weather since then . Anyhow, I would have loved to, but I think our dates will clash. DS1 breaks up 15th Feb. You will be off the week before, non?

itsahardknocklife · 05/02/2008 10:35

MrsC, have you gone all Continental on us?

MmeCellophane · 05/02/2008 10:38

Il semblerait ainsi!

MmeCellophane · 05/02/2008 10:41

Can you believe I've just wasted a good half hour........ DS has a friend coming for tea, so last night I lifted some mince out of the freezer and have just made bolognese. BUT - it tasted a bit odd so I've decided to chuck it. I don't think it's good etiquette to poison school friends

So... they're going to have fun making their own pizzas (well, putting toppings on at any rate!)

NorwichMummy · 05/02/2008 10:57

Hi there, thursday am would be better for me too as ds sleeps in the afternoon. Have got shocking cold and have lost voice but hopefully will be feeling better by Thurs!

Thinking about what to give up for Lent, but feeling so rotten at moment just can't get my head around it!

HeppyChick · 05/02/2008 12:05

Morning, Thursday am is good for me too.

itsahardknocklife · 05/02/2008 12:07

Mange tout, Mrs C, mange tout. (to be said in cockney Del-boy accent)

fatzak · 05/02/2008 12:17

Now then Mrs C, don't forget I only teach up to Year 8 these days so the days of the conditional tense is long behing me
(I really must start to brush up on my French one of these days)

Looks like our half terms do miss, that's a shame.

Twigy · 05/02/2008 12:19

Hi girls i'm back. Had a major catastrophy!!

The cat just chewed into the power cord of my laptop. You never seen a woman rush so quick to Maplins to get a replacement (plug, not cat).

Anyways cany miss out me, where is jellybeans??
