We def think its the pool, there's too many similarities for it to be a coincidence - they both spent more time walking round the edge of the pool rather than in it, the day after swimming both of them had probs with their feet and both were treated in hospital for infection

We won't be going again that's for sure.

itsahardknocklife · 19/02/2008 12:42

I wouldn't go back either, if I were you. It's scary.

hollybobs · 19/02/2008 13:12

Knickers - if this weather stays as it is tomorrow morning then I won't be riding so will be able to go to JB earlier. Check on-line tomorrow morning and I'll let you know what time I'll be over.

Evening all...

hollybobs · 19/02/2008 18:00

i'm at a playgroup in hoyland tomorrow morning & then going to meadowhell - have a good time though, let me know when the next one is

itsahardknocklife · 19/02/2008 18:01

Knickers, he doesn't have to know that you paid for them, though, does he?

What time are people going to JB tomorrow?

HeppyChick · 19/02/2008 18:12

Hi Itsa, NorwichMummy will be there quite early, around 11ish I think and we'll be there anytime between 11.30 and 12.30. No later than 12.30.

HeppyChick · 19/02/2008 18:13

that message is misleading - we'll arrive anytime between 11.30 and 12.30!

h0pe · 19/02/2008 18:24

Hi Everyone. I'm from Brighouse, my partner is from Hebden Bridge but plays footie for midley. Now I'm kind off familiar with how to work this can I just ask if anybody has got a little girl around 4ish going on 20 something. My daughter, gorgeous as she is is turning into a right little madam! I know they go through there phases but literally over night shes developed a right little attitute! Even the naughty step doesn't work anymore and she's developed this really ANNOYING habit of copying what I say. Sometimes I can't help but laugh ( think out of sheer amazement ) But dispiline is proving really tricky at the mo and I don't want to get to the point where I am just shouting. Any advise - Please don't just say get used to it!

HeppyChick · 19/02/2008 18:33

Eek sounds tricky! I've got 3 boys and understand how frustrating it can be, especially the copying! Really is best to laugh it off as it is only a phase (sorry not helping eh!). Unfortunately if you shout you're just giving her a reaction which, for some strange reason, littl'uns find very satisfying! Kill her with kindness and distract, distract, distract!

I'm sure someone will be along in a moment with more useful advice. Also you could try posting this query on the 'Parenting' board where you'll get a much wider audience and lots more advice!

ItsPotatoesForYouMyLad · 19/02/2008 20:24

heppy - was v funny to see you on Sunday. I was also looking at your ds and thinking 'i know that child' before recognising you - then couldn't for the life of me remember your rl name and didn't want to introduce you to dh as 'heppychick off the computer'
norwich - the worsborough bf group meet at Sunnybank Children's Centre every Thurs 10-12 and there is a list of groups on the Voluntary Action Barnsley website under 'breast feeding projects'.
Ginger - sorry to disappoint you, there's another Midgley near Huddersfield - I don't think you'll be seeng any footballers in your little Midgley!!
H0pe -welcome, and at the risk of being v unhelpful - "get used to it"

hi everyone else too. by the time I've read all your posts I've no time left to post myself!!! sorryi can't make it to JB tomorrow, have to work...
