Ok so so far we have -

Pesha
Pillockofthecommunity
Oooggs
Octo
Runnyhabit
Mammyjo

All definite or does it still depend on Mammyjos dh?

Meeting at Horseworld on saturday.

Is that okay for everyone or too far? Or does anyone know of somewhere better?

We also need to sort out a time. Obviously not too early as its a long journey for some people but also not too late for same reason and I think Octo has to meet her sister in afternoon, is that right? So 11 maybe? Earlier? Later? I'm easy, just picked a time to get things going!!

How many children over 3 are there going to be? If we total over 15 adults and children we get a group discount and organiser goes free but we can split that up and add it on to the discount iyswim. But I make it that there are 14 of us, is that right?!

Oooggs - are you still wanting to go to Clarks village too? Maybe Ellie and I could meet you there before (although obviously depends on what time we're meeting, 11 might be too early) and travel up together from there? Wouldnt mind having a bit of a look round myself!) Or could go on way back?

Anything else we need to sort out?!

but someone may be able to do better as I think this may just be a carvery and not much else

oooggs · 01/02/2008 15:34

or this one
or this one

mammyjo · 01/02/2008 16:52

Ok, nursery have just phoned to say that Ffion has a temperature. I knew she wasnt right this morning when she went back to bed by 10am. She has a runny nose so I think its just a bit of a cold.
Anyway, what I am asking is does anyone have any objections to me still bringing her if she is hot overnight/tomorrow morning. I plan to give her calpol, and then just wait and see. Obviously if she is really not right then I wont come, but I really wanted to come and ds will not be happy if we dont go to horseworld!

I really wont be offended if you would rather I didnt bring her, I know what its like!

oooggs · 01/02/2008 19:24

fine by me as long as its not pox

mammyjo · 01/02/2008 19:26

Thats the thing though isnt it, wont know if its pox until its too late and I really would not want to infect everyone else.

oooggs · 01/02/2008 19:37

pox -well ds1 was 14 mths when he got it and if dts got it now if you save me taking time off work I just hope she is well enough in herself - it is probably her teeth [fingers crossed]

mammyjo · 01/02/2008 19:43

More than likely teeth or a cold. Just typical timing though, she has been well for about 2 months now, but has to get a temp the very day before I actually have plans to do something!!

I will see how she goes overnight. If she seems ok in the morning then I will probably come. Ruddy kids!!

runnyhabbit · 01/02/2008 19:48

Fine by me too

Have to admit that I think I'm more excited about tomorrow that ds1

Did show him the website though, and when he saw the picture of the slides & hay bales, he did say "wow"

oooggs · 01/02/2008 19:49

glad to hear that runny, I have nearly packed the car - on a tight schedule in the morning

runnyhabbit · 01/02/2008 19:57

Food is in fridge - just need to do something with it

Just got to put the boys clothes out and pack changing bag

Iron my clothes

Arse - just looked at BBC weather for tomorrow - theres a chance of light rain
This means that I might have to wear my coat with a hood. Bum.

Octothechildherder · 01/02/2008 20:11

Will it ruin your hair do? I hate that Get yer hair done for a special event then it rains!

Oooggs & my dinner is packed in the fridge Sorry no M&S - Morrisons! Rolls, crisps, apples, mini scotch eggs, yoghurt tubes, raisins, fudge bars and drinks - do you think we need some carrots/cucumber sticks? Its just mine will want a snack when we get there!! will do some anyway!

Changing bag packed & spare changing bag packed Spare clothes for Ted ...

Need to unpack crap out of back of car and reload with all this!

Very excited

See you tomorrow

oooggs · 01/02/2008 20:12

lol runny

I have clothes out (for children)
spare clothes and pjs and grobags packed
pushchair, travel highchairs and peshas pillows in the car

I need to get roadbook out so I know where I am going!!!!!!

runnyhabbit · 01/02/2008 20:14

Well, it won't ruin my hair (as such...)

But I wanted to wear my long tweedy style coat (although that would mean I'd have to put keys purse phone in handbag)
If I wear my bright pink hooded coat, then I suppose I could stick my stuff in the pockets.

Think its going to be the pink coat

runnyhabbit · 01/02/2008 20:16

Knew I'd forgotten something - need to print directions!

(Can't believe I just waffled about the coat I'm wearing)

oooggs · 01/02/2008 20:19

I can't beleive a mummy with two very young children has a handbag!!!!!!!!!

I can't remember the last time I used one

oooggs · 01/02/2008 20:19

believe

Octothechildherder · 01/02/2008 20:21

I can't do changing bag, picnic bag and handbag! Pushchair has zip pockets which are good for stuffing keys etc in.

Atleast we'll know which is runny - and if it does rain I will be in my spotty blue & white coat!

runnyhabbit · 01/02/2008 20:23

I haven't, and never will, give up my love(and need) for handbags

Best go. Stuff to do, and dh wants computer. (and we're having a chinese!)

See you tomorrow
x
