Ok so so far we have -

Pesha
Pillockofthecommunity
Oooggs
Octo
Runnyhabit
Mammyjo

All definite or does it still depend on Mammyjos dh?

Meeting at Horseworld on saturday.

Is that okay for everyone or too far? Or does anyone know of somewhere better?

We also need to sort out a time. Obviously not too early as its a long journey for some people but also not too late for same reason and I think Octo has to meet her sister in afternoon, is that right? So 11 maybe? Earlier? Later? I'm easy, just picked a time to get things going!!

How many children over 3 are there going to be? If we total over 15 adults and children we get a group discount and organiser goes free but we can split that up and add it on to the discount iyswim. But I make it that there are 14 of us, is that right?!

Oooggs - are you still wanting to go to Clarks village too? Maybe Ellie and I could meet you there before (although obviously depends on what time we're meeting, 11 might be too early) and travel up together from there? Wouldnt mind having a bit of a look round myself!) Or could go on way back?

Anything else we need to sort out?!

aha, Bristol eh?well that changes everything!
We are all going to Bristol one weeknend, to meet my friend Victoria. She is whithout doubt, the poshest woman in the entire world, and she is also the sweetest and kindest soul.
We will hopefully combine our visit to her this month, with a meeting with you all.
(she is so posh, she has hired a Nanny for the two days we are visiting her-oh what a treat, to watch someone else do all the work!)
I'd be so thrilled to meet you all too.

Pesha · 30/01/2008 19:58

OP posts:
PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/01/2008 19:59

we're only meeting up this weekend though Meemz, I'm down staying with Pesha and the others are travelling from far afield to meet me

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 19:59

Yippeee - I was planning to get there at 10am and get my moneys worth! Planning to leave at 9am and am bringing ds2 and 3! DS1 has football.

Would need to leave about 2pm.

Very excited - already met Pesha, Pillock, WCL and oooggs - but there will be more

(((scuttles off to decide what to wear)))

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:00

Do I know you auntiemeemz?

Pesha · 30/01/2008 20:01

Oh yes I missed WCL off my list, is she coming?? She's not been around for a few days has she? Anyone got her mobile number or wanna email her?

OP posts:
runnyhabbit · 30/01/2008 20:02

It'll take me in between an hour to an hour and half depending on speed cameras traffic

11 would be great for me
(rh thinking out loud....leave the house about 9.30 then W can have morning nap in car on way down - excellent!)

Pesha · 30/01/2008 20:04

Octo - Maia will be Bloody men and their football

OP posts:
runnyhabbit · 30/01/2008 20:04

octo - one step ahead of you - I've already decided what I'm wearing

so are we meeting at 10 now?

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:05

I can just whizz across through Keynsham cross country - you'd think I would have been before - have been to Avon Valley in Keynsham - have def seen signs for it!

I have WCL email address but no mobile.

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:06

runny

should I buy a new outfit - maybe some jodphurs????? {wink}

guffaw

runnyhabbit · 30/01/2008 20:07

the rugby is on as well - Wales v England

never know who to support - I'm English (so are my parents and sis) but dh is Welsh - and so are the boys obv

sorry, am sidetracking the thread a bit

runnyhabbit · 30/01/2008 20:08

well, I've got a whip

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:14

and I've got handcuffs hmm maybe just a little too much vino ...

Yes - reugby - my sis is coming over and my dh is going out! she has 2 ds aswell ...

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/01/2008 20:17

bloody hell love, you can turn any thread dodgy

Pesha · 30/01/2008 20:18

Hang on what sort of a meet up is this?!

I'm not sure thats the sort of thing I signed up for

On the other hand....

OP posts:
Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:23

You know who isn't coming so it wil be fine

So, moving on - who is coming now and what time? We need a password, I would suggest 'fruit shoot' - mutter it as you pass anyone with a pushchair and nine month old baby!

oooggs · 30/01/2008 20:25

autoroute says it is going to take me 2.5 hours

pesha I would love to go to Clarks but I doubt I will have time. I am worried about driving home late afternoon and all dcs sleeping in the car and not sleeping at night when dh is away.

But then it depends on how long we are staying at horseworld - how far back it it to Street, I could go after then hang around and grab tea somewhere and drive at bedtime (6.30pm) I don't know

Seems a shame we aren't meeting somewhere where we could chat and children play instead of an outside place if it is cold and the children will near entertaining.

Honestly I am not hankering after a pub

Pesha · 30/01/2008 20:26

Lol Octo I think the heavy SM gear handcuffs and whips will give you and runny away!
