Ok so so far we have -

Pesha
Pillockofthecommunity
Oooggs
Octo
Runnyhabit
Mammyjo

All definite or does it still depend on Mammyjos dh?

Meeting at Horseworld on saturday.

Is that okay for everyone or too far? Or does anyone know of somewhere better?

We also need to sort out a time. Obviously not too early as its a long journey for some people but also not too late for same reason and I think Octo has to meet her sister in afternoon, is that right? So 11 maybe? Earlier? Later? I'm easy, just picked a time to get things going!!

How many children over 3 are there going to be? If we total over 15 adults and children we get a group discount and organiser goes free but we can split that up and add it on to the discount iyswim. But I make it that there are 14 of us, is that right?!

Oooggs - are you still wanting to go to Clarks village too? Maybe Ellie and I could meet you there before (although obviously depends on what time we're meeting, 11 might be too early) and travel up together from there? Wouldnt mind having a bit of a look round myself!) Or could go on way back?

Anything else we need to sort out?!

oooggs - it is 2 1/2 to mine from plymouth - closer to 2 tbh to horseworld. I would offer to put folk up but sister is here.

oooggs · 30/01/2008 20:30

oh I don't want to stay away from home that would be a nightmare with my 3 on my own. Just may need to adjust my travelling times home

runnyhabbit · 30/01/2008 20:30

pmsl

isn't there anywhere indoors we could meet?

Jump? or is that too out of the way?

Pesha · 30/01/2008 20:30

Horseworld has this which is inside and should keep kids happy!

It does seem a very long way for you to travel though.

OP posts:
oooggs · 30/01/2008 20:31

2 hours is better especially if I can get on road by 8.30am

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/01/2008 20:32

the boys will be fine oooggs, you know they will!
Pesha's M might feel a bit lost as the only older girl though

but am more than happy to go to a family friendly pub establishment for food after horseworld with you, so that we travel after bedtime?

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:32

Jump might actually be quicker for ooggs but it can get very very busy and very little seating.

I am thinking pony nuts, jodphurs, whips, carrots, polos and chavvy burberry

runnyhabbit · 30/01/2008 20:35

ok, so Jump is out
(tbh, did not really fancy going to soft play on a Sat iyswim)

and am def up for going for some food afterwards - I'm planning on being out for the day

oooggs · 30/01/2008 20:35

that would be good to have some tea coming back down south'er (is that a word probably not) then leave in pj's (children not me

I am such a sad muppet - I am excited!!!!!!

runnyhabbit · 30/01/2008 20:36

don't forget the tweed blazer with leather elbow patches

runnyhabbit · 30/01/2008 20:37

I am excited too!!!!!

oooggs · 30/01/2008 20:37

I am happy with horseworld (don't get me wrong) just the timings of coming home - food so runny can come too is great - now even more excited

will be great to see you and the boys octo - shame ds1 isn't coming, but you will get to meet my horror ds1 instead

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/01/2008 20:39

excellent
works better for me too as that way J will be asleep before me and Pesha go out on the razz!

only thing is, to come further south means runny heading away from home

runnyhabbit · 30/01/2008 20:44

bugger - hadn't thought of that

I'm not bothered about the driving, just the boys bedtimes. Maybe I could bring their pyjamas, and change them before coming home?

Or is that just plain mad?

oooggs · 30/01/2008 20:45

no fine to stay around horseworld way for runny, but no further north I only mentioned further south thinking it was you, pesha & I.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/01/2008 20:45

that's what oooggs suggested just now

oooggs · 30/01/2008 20:46

I am getting them ready for bed before I drive home anyway - going to pack car as if going on an overnighter withour the travel cot

lunchtime---- cafe or picnic????

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/01/2008 20:47

picnic gets my vote

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:47

I'm easy about lunch - whatever - I tend to bring food anyway for the gannets!

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:48

Well people can buy food if they want to but trying to all squeeze into a cafe area is bonkers!

oooggs · 30/01/2008 20:50

sorted then - especially if we are out for tea - I'm going to have to get up at 4am

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:51

why?

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:52

oooggs - I will bring a picnic for us and the boys and will bring a jar each for the babies. Please do not get up at 4am!

Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 20:53

thats you btw and your children!

runnyhabbit · 30/01/2008 20:53

so let me get this right -

meeting about 10am
taking picnic/packed lunch style food with us
going to a nice pub eating establishment for tea
get dc ready for bed before coming home
