As I'm up there for the week with DS's in tow and would love to meet some of you.

Would have to be a day time one as I can't rely on my brother to baby-sit too often, so I'll have the DS's with me.........

lol @ "may go horribly wrong" - you don't strike me as the sort of person who has things go "horribly wrong" when making trips with your DC

Put me down as a possible. To explain, I am starting up my childminding business again and am doing ad hoc short term and emergency type care, so if I have nobody that day then ds and I will come along.

Pop me down as possible - have dd (2.11) and ds (9 months). The 2Happy house has had a visit from the chickenpox fairy so not sure whether they'll be over it in time.

2happy · 30/01/2008 18:11

Chicken pox fairy? Chicken pox heffalump more like, poor sod even has one in his ear!

If we're not infectious I'll come. (By that time I'll have such a serious case of cabin fever I'll be desperate for adult company!!)

you wait until you see my older 2 - they had chickenpox last may - but have got hyper-pigmentation where most of the spots scarred over and still look spotty now !

Have a large collections of lotions and potions from the friendly local Pharmacist who heard ds2 had CP within 2 hours of me knowing (how I love living in the sticks where privacy is a strange foreign word). ds1 still hasn't got it, though, which is what could potentially scupper us coming.

Living1705 · 31/01/2008 15:48

hi ladies do any of you fancy having a candle party?

You get FREE products!
I live in EK but step-kids come from Kirkcaldy so up there most weekends so looking for east coast parties or west coast parties!
want to know more - ask for party pack

Not so far FAQ. He's a bit whingey, but then we've been stuck indoors since Tuesday now. (That and he's 2.8 )

FAQ · 01/02/2008 17:00

aww bless him - you may still get it over and done with by the 21st.....it's 3 weeks away yet

OP posts:
FAQ · 01/02/2008 17:02

DS2 came down with it just as DS1 was getting over it - it took DS2 1 1/2 weeks (Monday to following Wednesday) to completely scab over (I remember it well - his last spot crusted over, and I had a show - DS3 born the following day )

FAQ · 01/02/2008 18:02

I was terrified when they both got it just one month before my due date - DS3 was due 05/06/07 - but turned up on the 24th May!

Just waiting for her big sister to start now,
