I admit to being a little tipsy on Friday night but I was perfectly sober last night, I'll have you know. I've decided too much wine is not a good idea at the moment so two glasses is my limit.

Berrie · 14/01/2008 11:31

Very sensible

Berrie · 14/01/2008 13:31

Well I don't rate the poultry forum. No one has replied to me though my question has been viewed 11 times. (I think that was me though)

oggsfrog · 14/01/2008 15:14

Which one was it Berrie? Have you got your nesting boxes sorted yet? Best size is about 12" x 12".

I do apologise Lyra

Where are Binkle and Zeb? I've not sen them for a while.

Berrie · 14/01/2008 15:16

Maybe Zeb is still ill. Binkle is probably socialising somewhere...

Berrie · 14/01/2008 15:19

The Poultry site.com
We have not ....DH has not done the nest boxes yet. We are still umming and ahhing...I am umming and ahhing about the site of the hen house and whether to have 3 areas that I can rotate. If we do that, we will need 3 doors

Berrie · 14/01/2008 15:24

Oh oh oh! I have a reply...not that it helps but it is a reply!

oggsfrog · 14/01/2008 15:26

Decided what breed you wnat yet?

oggsfrog · 14/01/2008 15:29

Ah, bless. You're a junior member . You might be better with a uk site maybe?

oggsfrog · 14/01/2008 15:32

Practical Poultry Forum?

Berrie · 14/01/2008 15:32

Twas the first one that came up... I did a search for uk wesites only so assumed it was uk

Berrie · 14/01/2008 15:34

Thanks will join right away!

Berrie · 14/01/2008 15:36

Do I need to buy them in groups or can I buy one of each I fancy?

oggsfrog · 14/01/2008 15:40

Tbh I've never bought a chicken in my life. I've been lucky enough to be given either eggs (that I've hatched under a broody) or full grown chickens.

oggsfrog · 14/01/2008 15:42

Of course now I've got a right mix of pure bred and heinz 57. I just leave them to get on with it. We had over 20 last year, I'm down to 7 at moment. I'm sure in the spring one of them will sit and produce another load

Berrie · 14/01/2008 15:50

Because you ate them or the fox got them?

Berrie · 14/01/2008 15:52

Urrgh...that'll teach me to ignore the children while I surf...I forgot that dd was nappiless...she just ran up to me waving a potty with a turd in ( a rare experience for her) She then touched her bottom, didn't like what she saw on her finger and promptly wiped it on me!

Berrie · 15/01/2008 07:22

Morning!
Quiet again yesterday...wonder where Binkle has got to?

Berrie · 15/01/2008 08:24

You lot need to message Oggs. She has some proper pictures on there and they are nothing like that rubbish one she put on here.

oggsfrog · 15/01/2008 08:44

Morning
Berrie forgot to do the cd last night (drank wine and watched Oliver (the adaptation from Christmas) instead) . Will do it this morning...

Berrie · 15/01/2008 08:46

No hurry

LyraSilvertongue · 15/01/2008 09:11

oggsfrog · 15/01/2008 09:30
