Tried installing it and I can't. Probably because I'm on a mac.
I think Microsoft deliberately make their products incompatible.

have had trouble with other freind on a mac...not sure you can do it...

That explains why I haven't used it in a while. I signed up when I had my old Sony Vaio with Windows XP. Haven't used it since I got the Mac cos it don't work.

There should be an option there to apply for one if it is asking you for one.

There is.. there's a passport wizard, but it's saying my security settings are preventing activex from opening and I go back to square one.
Bloody frustrating 'cos I know I've used it in the past.

Can you reduce your security a bit?

You need to change your internet security settings from high to medium.
