hello all, thought I'd breathe some life back into the Haslemere thread. What happened, did any of u meet up? I moved to shottermill about 4 mths ago & have a 21/5 yr old ds. I'd love to make some real friends & it'd be gr8 4 my ds to hav friends round to play. I'm also training in massage therapy & looking 4 volunteers 4 free massage. So if any of u can b child free 4 an hour or so let me kno.

Rodborough in milford is a v v good secondary school, beacon status. Dd1 goes there. All the schools mear me, infant through to secondary are excellent.

lou33 · 19/11/2004 14:59

chandler junior school in witley is v good too, dd2 goes there

merlot · 19/11/2004 15:00

Only really know about state schools in the Waverley area.

KS. Glad to hear that the Cyder House has improved. Went there about 3 years ago and the food was dire!

merlot · 19/11/2004 15:02

My ds1 (7.5) goes to Waverley Abbey Junior School. Seems excellent (so far!) and ds1 loves it. They work hard, but they play hard too iykwim . Think, on balance, all the schools are good in this part of the world

lou33 · 19/11/2004 16:32

you know what girls i have had a thought. I will be in my local in witley (the star) on weds evening, so if any of you wanted to come for a drink , maybe you could pop along? What do you think?

alicatsg · 19/11/2004 16:40

oooh - wonder if dh will give me a pass for the evening.

handbagaddiction · 19/11/2004 16:41

Noooooo! I'd love to - but dh is away for the night on a residential course so I'll have to stay in and look after dd.

lou33 · 19/11/2004 16:44
