Any mums in ESSEX?

Hi Im 25 with a 20 month old daughter and we live in Basildon. I dont know any other mums and really want to start taking my DD to some parent and toddler groups but am very nervous! I also have another baby due in July and would love to chat and possibly meet up with some other mums, I do drive so anywhere in Essex is fine x x

It is scary,isn't it? Ds1 also starts school in Sept and ds2 starts pre school.Don't know where the time has gone.

im near to Colchester to have ds 15, ds 12, DD6 and ds 3

well i dont drive and with ds im limited to how far i can travel on train with him his not a good traveler but would be up for meeting up keep forgetting to check this thread so dont think im ignoring anybody xx

dont drive either but ds will go anywhere on train its one of his things

my ds does love trains but haven't made really long journeys too nervous lol

train so much easie rhe can get up walk around,play games poke mummy but trains are his greatest love have been up toLondon with him and he loved it the stairs well tahst anothermatter

i'm 34, orsett is brentwood area isn't ?any soft play areas near you? there's quite alot in chelmsford, don't know if you have trasport, if not i can travel

Hello everyone - hope you don't mind me jumping feet-first into your thread.

I am also an Essex mum (dd4 and ds2), living near Chelmsford. I am also the new Tsarina for the Mid-Essex Local Site, taking over from the sterling work done by the previous Tsarinas.

I just wondered if I could ask for some feedback on the local site. Do you use it? Is it useful? If you don't use it, why not? That sort of thing, but any comments are welcome.

It would be great if we could turn it into a really useful resource for all of us Essex Mums (ooh, did using the phrase 'Essex Mums sound really cheesy?)

hi there im moving to braintree monday 12th and have a 7month old and a 2year old i am looking for other mums with similar aged children to meet up and make new friends in the area im moving to i come from colchester originally and dont know anyone in braintree i feel this is the time and place to meet new friends with similar interests and someone to have a coffee with and take the kids to the park lol.
