Cardiff / South Wales meet up

OK, there's been various attempts to do something, we're not very good at this meet up business here, are we? Some of us work, some of us don't. Evenings can be tricky to co-ordinate (bit daunting for a first meet up) and daytimes people have different commitments.

I'm often in Roath Park, Cardiff, on a Sunday. Anyone fancy a flask of coffee and a sarnie in the playground one lunchtime? A sort of drop in session - stay as long as you like, scuttle off if it's all too scary. Kids are entertained. Don't need to bring the DHs. No "competitive mother" picnics allowed

Would this work?

Or have I missed the really big meet up you all organised????

I'm on tenterhooks. Is there finally going to be a Cardiff MN meet up???

I can't make it, I'm at work, as ever, but am watching thread with interest! Have fun!

Did anything ever happen?

I'm new to MN. I live in Barry and have 2 ds's. DS1 will be 3 in a couple of weeks and ds2 is 18 weeks old.

Is there anyone about who fancies meeting up? Perhaps an indoor venue would be best to avoid trying to predict the weather!! (though we did spend a lovely afternoon on the beach last weekend in shorts and t-shirts which isn't bad for mid-october!)
