Cardiff / South Wales meet up

OK, there's been various attempts to do something, we're not very good at this meet up business here, are we? Some of us work, some of us don't. Evenings can be tricky to co-ordinate (bit daunting for a first meet up) and daytimes people have different commitments.

I'm often in Roath Park, Cardiff, on a Sunday. Anyone fancy a flask of coffee and a sarnie in the playground one lunchtime? A sort of drop in session - stay as long as you like, scuttle off if it's all too scary. Kids are entertained. Don't need to bring the DHs. No "competitive mother" picnics allowed

I used to go to college just up the road from Roath Park (I think)....

Hmm. Weather forecast for Sunday is particularly bad. Shall we do an alternative venue or put it off until finer crisper days after Christmas? Am happy to do Jump or similar (though with three young ones I realise you need a second mortgage for that place)

Any thoughts? Would still love to meet up.

Looks as if you are right on the weather front. Just did the 5 day forecast and rain came up for Sunday.
If you prefer to wait until the new year I don't mind and will go along with the majority. As for jump not only as you said will it be expensive but if everybody else decides to go indoors, due to the weather, it will be very busy!

Let's wait until the new year then and hope for better weather. Bloody awful isn't it.

Have to say that weekends are pretty crappy for me as Dh and i always do stuff together with DD but any other time would be fab for me ! xx
