Cardiff / South Wales meet up

OK, there's been various attempts to do something, we're not very good at this meet up business here, are we? Some of us work, some of us don't. Evenings can be tricky to co-ordinate (bit daunting for a first meet up) and daytimes people have different commitments.

I'm often in Roath Park, Cardiff, on a Sunday. Anyone fancy a flask of coffee and a sarnie in the playground one lunchtime? A sort of drop in session - stay as long as you like, scuttle off if it's all too scary. Kids are entertained. Don't need to bring the DHs. No "competitive mother" picnics allowed

Sorry about the Inset day sweetbean. Have just seen this. It's a teacher training day as you'll discover. I take it yours are smaller than mine. They have 8 of them each year, usually tagged onto holidays. IIRC I took DS to the new swimming pool down the bay. Was really very good.

Hope we manage to do something at some stage. I work full time so makes it very tricky, I know.

Now have this on "threads I'm watching" in case of sporadic activity

i'd love to do it now uni finished but cannot do evenings except at wekends (dh a night worker and needs car)

am away 1st 2 weeks of summer hols

that's usually very good- dh can pop off to maplins or somewhere in peace (we're a bit outside cardiff, caerleon, but near enough for it tp be easy)

Only ever been to Swansea twice as a kid so I wouldn't have a clue where Lido park is !!!!
