I think Sean Slater is even younger than LM. Oh dear...

True, whereas Julian is just sickly-looking?

You may have a point there Lyra. D'ya think I have been staying up too late watching random tv and am starting to get delusional?

binkleandflip · 23/11/2007 17:06

HE CANT BE YOUNGER THAN LM???

He looks older to me - look -

Oh silly me, thats the basil brush man again....

Another example of my disturbing taste in men but I still maintain he does have a look of Sean S

LyraSilvertongue · 23/11/2007 17:07

That's NOT HIM!!!!!

binkleandflip · 23/11/2007 17:08

Well, at least we livened up the thread for a bit Lyra, I'm off to provide whoesome nourishment (read: order pizza) for dd and her friend.

LyraSilvertongue · 23/11/2007 17:11

I'm making hamburgers and chips

OP posts:
Berrie · 23/11/2007 18:20

Me too

LyraSilvertongue · 23/11/2007 18:33

Ah, you're back.

OP posts:
Berrie · 23/11/2007 18:53

Yup
Beefburgers were vile. They were from the local organic farm shop which is very expensive but usually fabulous. Didn't stop me finishing off ds's and dd's!

LyraSilvertongue · 23/11/2007 19:57

Mine were from Co-op, reduced to 50p for 4 (fresh). And they were very nice.

OP posts:
Berrie · 23/11/2007 20:31

Co-op it is then from now on. Chips were nice though. Have you had Asda extra special oven chips? They are lovely but I did do my whole shop there because of them the other week only to get to the freezers and find they were sold out.

LyraSilvertongue · 23/11/2007 20:33

No but I have tried Sainsburys Taste the Difference Extra Chunky chips and they're delicious.

Review of Lee cd
I still haven't got it. I was supposed to be buying it when I went shopping on Thurs but I completely forgot and ended up with the new Harry Potter dvd instead

binkleandflip · 24/11/2007 11:48

Oh dear, he is getting very mixed reviews isnt he?

Tbh, I could listen to him doing show tunes all day long but the track listing doesnt sound like my thing really so I havent got the cd as yet. I daresay it might turn up in my chrissie stocking though...

LyraSilvertongue · 24/11/2007 12:55

And you two call yourself fans.
Binkle, it didn't look like my kind of thing either, and some of it isn't, but it's worth buying anyway for his voice.
Oggs, how could you forget?

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 24/11/2007 12:58

I think the reviewer was a little harsh. It's not beige at all.

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 24/11/2007 13:03

Oddly enough, this review is almost the same at the NOTW one but supposedly by a different person. The papers aren't even part of the same group.

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 24/11/2007 13:03

Can you tell I'm at work?
I'm the only none not having a real life today.

OP posts:
Berrie · 24/11/2007 13:17

Oh dear. Poor Lee, that won't go down well will it and Lord protect the journalists from his Mum!

LyraSilvertongue · 24/11/2007 13:27

It doesn't read like a very well considered review. For example, he goes on about Lee's stage school voice but he didn't go to stage school did he?

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 24/11/2007 13:28

And he describes it as an album full of show tunes, when there's only one show tune (Any Dream Will Do) on it.

OP posts:
Berrie · 24/11/2007 14:45

Any reviews in the weekend papers? Nothing in the Times today...

LyraSilvertongue · 24/11/2007 15:17

I'll have a look...

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 24/11/2007 15:31

Nowt int guardian or Telegraph. I suspect if there were any reviews they would be in last week's mags.
