Hiya

What time tomorrow were you thinking? I've realised that I've got an appointment tomorrow that I'd completely forgotten about, but I could do the afternoon.

needmorecoffee · 24/10/2007 19:41

11 ish onwards. Whenever really. No respite help tomorrow so dd will be driving me nuts.

HOpe you all have fun.

I'll be working tomorrow or I would hav eloved to come.

CrookshanksinJimmyChoos · 24/10/2007 21:07

Dr said she thinks that stomach probs was caused by taking cold remedies to try and get well for work...ironic that the stomach problem was very thing that stopped me from going to work! So, I'm not infectious, but DS has a slight left over cough from last week so not sure how you'd feel about that?

DS is in process of dropping naps so is all over the place but I don't think it will be around 11am...most likely after lunch??

CrookshanksinJimmyChoos · 25/10/2007 01:22

DS has just thrown up - spent last hour sorting him out and getting him back to sleep...tomorrow looking iffy now Bloody fecking cough he's got!

needmorecoffee · 25/10/2007 10:47

Cold remedies don't work! There's a billion tons of scientific info about that.
DD always vons when she has a cough. But then she can vom when laughing her head off too.
I am in, sat here alone billy no-mates. if anyone does want to come over....

OP posts:
DixiePixie · 25/10/2007 13:47

Aarrgh! Having one of those "wish I'd stayed in bed" days - just can't get my act together.

Not sure that I'll be able to come over, normally I would have loved to . I hope someone came round! I'll be up for a meetup when I'm having less of a mad disorganised day.

Sorry about that - hope to see you soon!

needmorecoffee · 25/10/2007 19:38

DD whined and complained all day so I've buried her under the patio. Must be one of those days.

ROFL

CrookshanksinJimmyChoos · 25/10/2007 20:24

Aww! Feel awful that you were on your own! DS woke me up at 5.50am today...I was hanging and he needed a long nap this am to make up for the lack of sleep last night! Having said that, since he was sick yesterday, he's been much more cheerful and lovely to have around so

MaeWhooooohest · 25/10/2007 20:30

Sorry you were on your own nmc, was working today (and had quite a productive day, whoo!). When I picked DS up from childminder discovered he had yellow gunge coming out of his ear - the season of lurgies is upon us!

Who wants to be brave and suggest a new date?

needmorecoffee · 25/10/2007 20:57

Am sulking now and will need to be appeased with cake and possibly cappucino with swirly cream on top.....

And mumsnet has gone all weird on me

OP posts:
needmorecoffee · 25/10/2007 20:58

ah, set it back to classic and now it all makes sense.

OP posts:
CrookshanksinJimmyChoos · 25/10/2007 20:59

Its a mare with all these bugs around - you tread a fine line between brightly turning up and then people being at the sight of your snot laden offspring or not turning up and becoming social pariah (sp!)! lol!!

needmorecoffee · 26/10/2007 09:53

I don't mind diseases except vomitting ones. DD's had chickenpox and measles and possibly rubella.
We probably don't do proper flu either but with proper flu one doesn't get out of bed.
Should really bedoing some cleaning rather than sat here reading mumsnet.......

Anyone up for a meet at Ashton Court?

needmorecoffee · 30/10/2007 19:54

Love too if someone come fetched me :-) and dd of course.
Is there cake?

OP posts:
ArmadilloDaMan · 31/10/2007 17:59

There could be cake I'm sure.

I have got car, but not sure your dd's wheelchair would fit in back (small boot).

It's a suzuki wagon R if you know what that is.

needmorecoffee · 01/11/2007 12:37

No idea what a suzuki thingy is. You could come over and we'll have a go. And possibly try cake.
Wouldn't mind people coming over as am feeling a tad bored.
Still waiting for Crookshanks to make the cake she promised so very long agao....hinthinthint...
How's ds now?

OP posts:
ArmadilloDaMan · 01/11/2007 18:07

Ds is fine thanks.

Hows your dd doing?

NExt week is really busy for me. Week after I can do Mon/Tues afternoon or weekend.

ArmadilloDaMan · 01/11/2007 18:09

Meant to say am happy to try wheelchair in boot if you want me to give it a go. Height isn't a problem too much as boot is really high. Its width that's the problem.

needmorecoffee · 02/11/2007 15:54

Shall we give it a try?
Mon 12th/Tues 13th in the afty all good with me.
Anyone else want to come watch the fun?

OP posts:
ArmadilloDaMan · 02/11/2007 19:02

Good for me.

DO you want if you are free one evening before then, if I come over with car see if your dd wheelchair will fit in. Then we know before date (and for any future stuff) whether I can do it.

MIL has very similar car to me and can fit adult wheelchair in, so should be alright.

Email me klmb _ ilc at yahoo (without gaps) if you want to arrange it.

ThomasTankEngine · 02/11/2007 19:13

Hello, sorry not been around recently.

Would love to meet up.

ArmadilloDaMan · 02/11/2007 19:17
