NomDePlume · 13/10/2004 10:49

Shameless BUMP !

COME ON YOU MIDLANDERS !!!!!!

Blackduck · 13/10/2004 10:52

what are you thinking? just us, or dp/dd/ds's as well?

NomDePlume · 13/10/2004 10:55

TBH, was hoping for an evening do, just us. My Dh wouldn't be all that keen anyway and I need a babysitter !

Blackduck · 13/10/2004 10:59

Sounds possible.....!

jampot · 13/10/2004 11:08

How about people can bring partners/kids if they wish and those who don't wish don't have to??? or would people prefer a definite format?

OP posts:
golds · 13/10/2004 11:08

I maybe interested too, depending on where you want to meet

jampot · 13/10/2004 11:12

Golds - thinking of somewhere central and easy access to motorway network (minimise chances of getting lost) I found The Old Sils at junction5 M42 - but if there's any other venues please post

I'm not bringing DH or any of the kiddie rable, not really fussed about others bringing theirs. Although I would quite like to let my hair down a bit, and would perhaps feel a bit restrained by kiddies. Sorry, that sounds really off, didn't mean it to. I won't be dancing naked on the tables etc, but I don't really want to have to 'police' myself for fear of upsetting anyones kids, IYSWIM.

jampot · 13/10/2004 11:16

completely understand NDP

NomDePlume · 13/10/2004 11:16

Sorry, I meant rabble

NomDePlume · 13/10/2004 11:16

Glad someone does, Jampot !

GeorginaA · 13/10/2004 12:11

ME!

golds · 13/10/2004 12:17

Sorry a bit too far for me on this occassion - I don't drive on motorways (bit of a wuss), thanks for the offer

LunarSea · 13/10/2004 12:22

I'm up for it if it's an evening and/or weekend thing. Can't really due midweek daytimes owing to this inconvienient commitment called work! I can get the contact details for room booking at the Old Sils if you decide on that (we use them for another organisation I'm involved with) - but if it's going to be an evening no-kids do, then a pub/restaurant might be a better bet?

Ailsa · 13/10/2004 13:25

me

MumtoLaura · 13/10/2004 14:37

And me

Ronniebaby · 13/10/2004 15:29

Me - sort of, depends on when and where (and those who know me will now why). Cant drink anyway, but distance does matter owing to this growing bump I have developed

Not fussed about DH or DS, altho I can be myself without DH.

whimsy · 13/10/2004 15:56

Me, not sure about motorway venue as wont be driving. It would need to be more central IYSWIM Agree no dh or children although I do love them dearly

clary · 13/10/2004 15:58

i may be up for this, how far is this from derby?

whimsy · 13/10/2004 18:13

Bump

CHRIZ · 13/10/2004 19:06

1 on me

where u thinkinng of having it and when?

NomDePlume · 13/10/2004 19:10

I agree that the motorway venue may prove a PITA for the non-drivers amongst us.

Thank goodness some more folk have seen this ! Thought it was going to end up being just me and jampot ! No offence jampot
