Travellodge in City road has 3 adult rooms for £70

What is the difference between an adult room and a standard room? I thought that last year's marlarkey was the exception not the rule?

Got to spend a shitload this week for going to dad's 70th in the Highlands and treating him to meal etc. So our outgoings are fairly high.

I always mean to save stuff throughout the year for Christmas but it just never bloody happens!

£99 for twin room for the Saturday night, so £49.50 each, but honestly no rush for your share.

Really sorry but can't afford £50 on a room. Is this really how much they cost in London? I was thinking of Travelodge prices!

Believe it or not Travel Lodge is likely to be just as bad (or worse).

I can find something a lot cheaper if you don't mind 'backpacker' accommodation.

There is St. Giles near Heathrow for £35pp and Chamberlain for £43, oh and Norfolk Towers Hyde Park for £45, but yeah, see your point about the prices!
