I don't know what the rules is (will go investigate in a sec) but someone recently sent me £45 through paypal, and paypal deducted a £1.73 fee.

So, I think this means they charged me 3.4% + 20p because I have a busniess account. More info on fees here

Personally I do think that you will loose quite a large percentage if you do use PayPal but perhaps if you contact them first and point out that we are not all buisness tycoons living off ebay profits they will honour their commitment, I hope so.
I am sorry again as I realise that it would be easier for you but the risk is really not worth it from my point of view.

Anyone who has paypal funded by a bank account can pay with that

For anyone else, they can either pay via paypal and add on the charge (you will have to work it out for yourself!) or I can send sort code and a/c no to and you can do an internet or telephone banking transfer.

I have just re-activated an old bank a/c that I haven't used for a while that I can use solely for this and link to paypal too, so it will all be safely held in one place til I pay it over.

I've exciting news - Tech has agreed to make an almost unheard of trip out of his shed to join the festivities (and at least two others from MNHQ (Olivia and I) will be there to chaperone).
