is this the usual numbers for the xmas night oot? how many went last year?

After we have decided on the menus and therefore the price.

1. They will be issuing the xmas party menu on Thursday (hopefully this week) it will be £24.50 per head and will comprise platters of 6 tapas choices (ie we choose 6 between all of us, they divvy it up into platters and each table gets one) for starters, then platters of main courses again to share, things like steak, chicken etc on platters, we can choose 5 and there will be veggie options.

Alternatively we can have a buffet of the same food (not table service) for £2000 for 100 people.

2. They need a £200 deposit which I am happy to pay myself and recoup when the cash comes in.

3. If we have between 90 and 130 people we can have the restaurant exclusively from 8pm all night to ourselves. If we dip below 90 they may put other tables in the restaurant too.

4.The adjancent cocktail bar and the club downstairs will also be open to the public. He said that there will be other parties (smaller) in the cocktail bar so we will not be on our own in the club (which is what we wanted I believe)

5. I will collect all the money via paypal (once we have decided on the menus and the cost) as much as possible and others can send me cheques. I will then pay for the FOOD ONLY upfront. There will be no table service of drinks, you will have to go to the bar if you want wine for dinner. All wines avail from the bar. This means there will be NO faffing around at the end of the evening over money.

6. A week before the party we MUST confirm numbers. I'm afraid anyone who drops out after this time WILL LOSE THEIR MONEY as I will still have to pay. Obv if you can fill your place with someone else then that will be fine. If anyone else suddenly decides they want to come in the last week I'm sure that would be fine but I would have to check.
