Lucy Jones, biglips etc, feel free to organize a meet up in the middle! This is organized by mumsnetters, not mnhq. It is the London crowd who is testing and checking venues, discussing pricing and numbers and exclusive deals with bars and restaurants, to ensure everybody gets the best deal! We can not do this in the Notthingham, but somebody in Nottingham can!

There is no reason there shouldnt be two christmas meets!

The venue is in London because that is the most convenient for the most people.

But, it's too late to debate this really. We have been through a lot of work to sort out a suitable venue. The work is almost done. Everyone is welcome (of course!) and I hope to see lots of people I don't already know. But, changing the city at this point is unlikely.

There are lots of hotels which could surely accommodate any northerners who would like to travel to this great party -- and it will be a great party.
