What is the etiquette of this thing? Do people wear badges saying their MN name or something or do people have to 'fess up to who they really are? I wouldn't know anyone - actually, worse than that I might bump into someone I do know and not recognise them!!! (I actually do that all the time). Oh, it's all a bit scary - I don't know............

No no TM, not scared of you, you sound reassuringly friendly. Just generally scared of being socially stunted, dribbling, giggling inappropriately, losing social skills, being boring etc. It is a risk.
