EscapeFrom · 16/08/2007 08:31

I am still going - will be in the agreed spot at the agreed time!

tigerschick · 16/08/2007 08:34

We'll be there - I'm planning to go regardless of the weather, but do have the advantage of a car.

Hope to see you all there soon

BandofMothers · 16/08/2007 08:40

BandofMothers · 16/08/2007 08:50

I have absolutely no plans today tigers, but hate last minute planning and hate driving in Leicester.

Mght come on the next one.

NineUnlikelyTales · 16/08/2007 09:44

I am coming. Look out for me in black tights and a khaki shortish skirt

tigerschick · 16/08/2007 16:04

Hi all

It was lovely to meet those of you who could make it today.
It is, as we said, really nice to put faces to names - well, nicknames - and to meet each other's dc.

We'll have to have a think about somewhere inside where we can meet up in a few months - it will probably be too cold for the park by then!

Take care x

choufleur · 16/08/2007 16:58

Yes - good to meet everyone. Hope to see a few more new faces next time . Mrsharrypotter if you fancy a trip to the park in stoney let me know.

ahhhh just got back - damned British Rail!

Lovely to meet everyone, and all those beautiful babies! Sorry I couldn't chat more - ds1 is a Busy Child.

NineUnlikelyTales · 16/08/2007 18:54

Poor you EscapeFrom! DS fell asleep on the way to the bus stop so I was able to visit the Monsoon sale on the way home, hurray.

It was great to meet you all and thanks for introducing me to Abbey Park, we'll be going there again.

FuriousGeorge · 16/08/2007 19:06

Escape from,we only beat you by about 10 minutes!

I spotted dd2's missing welly from the bus window & walked back to rerieve it.It was right by the big roundabout!By the time we'd walked back to the car & it was about 5.10pm.

It was lovely to meet everyone.I'm sorry that I got there so late & didn't have a chance for a good chat with everyone.

My two are now in the bath-I don't know where they get their energy from,I'm flagging now.

Another meet up sounds great,we'll be there.
