Anyone in edinburgh fancy a meet-up?
i moved house while i was pg so don't know many people.

The 3rd's fine for me and I'm happy with the venue too - sounds good. Would 1pm be okay for people (then I could work the morning and then pick dd up from nursery and come along) or is it too late.

1pm isn't too late for me. Can get some xmas shopping done first.

I need to feed DD shortly after 1200, so happy to arrive and feed her while waiting for others (as long as you don't all stand me up!! to arrive at 1.00pm if that suits.

CafeBoo sounds good or I think there has been some good feedback about a place called Agenda? I have not been but I think its in Corstorphine, and has a soft play area.

A friday's not a good day for me as ds2 comes out of school at 12:10 and ds1 arrives home in his taxi at 12:50 then by the time i got to edinburgh you'd be lucky if i was there for 3 o'clock,would love to have come though,will keep an eye on this thread to see if the date changes for any reason.

just a quick post to make sure Friday's meeting is still going ahead and to find out how many of us are going to be there. As far as I'm aware there are definitely going to be five of us there: me, beansmum, PattyToo, nailpolish and Janos - anyone else who can make it would, of course, be very welcome - is this still the case. Also, is 1pm too late for everyone - I can try to get there for 12:30 if this would be better.
Finally, beansmum, I checked on the netmums Edinburgh site for directions to Cafe Bo (they have info on it) and it's behind McDonalds on Gorgie Road so should be easy enough to find (fingers crossed)

Sorry, sorry, sorry but I cannot make Friday now. We have visitors arriving at teatime and I will need to spend the morning scraping pureed pea off the carpets.

I'm in Balerno too. Have had same problem as Beansmum, miss town, don't know that many people in Balerno, have been here two years on 1st Dec. Other Mum's with kids seem to pretty established with the people they hang out with and don't seem to let other folk into their little coverns (sorry) I mean circles (think their dull anyway). I do have some fantastic mates but none who are mums. So would be fab to meet some other mums too other than just in passing. Have two small people, boys aged 6.5 and 14 months. If it's ok I'd like to try and come along on the 3rd. Lemmie know if it's ok, how will I know who you guys are?

Now feel like a right dope have just noticed that the meet up was for last year in 2004 not this year 2005, DOH! How did your meet up go, do you guys do this often since?
