Anyone in edinburgh fancy a meet-up?
i moved house while i was pg so don't know many people.

any chance we could do it another day? would really like to come but that week isn't good.

I'm easy for a change any day suits me but the weekends are better then i dont need to rush back for the boys coming out of school.

We could shunt it nearer to december and glamourize it with an Xmas meetup title!?

friday the 3rd is fine for me, just cant make the week after that as I have exams.

Might be nice to have lunch somewhere? Can't think of anywhere child friendly at the moment, although Vittoria on Brunswick street (top of leith walk) is nice and there always seem to be tons of kids about whenever I eat there. There's always John Lewis but it'll be packed this close to xmas I imagine.

dont know if ill be able to meet you all cos dd2 is only 4 weeks still and dd1 is only 2 so a bit of a handful, altho it depends where you are all going. just wanted to say, i met dh in ryans at the west end yesterday with dd2 for lunch and altho children are not allowed in the upstairs bit we went downstairs and it was great! lots of wee cave-like bits to sit in and it was pretty quiet. it was strange being there sober! (must be getting old)

Hi there - Just saw your thread and would also love to meet, but not sure about the 3rd as we are moving house that day, but if you are looking for a child friendly place on a friday, Cafe Boo at the Slateford Green Community Centre ([email protected] - 07966288467)is open and any walkers, crawlers are free to run around, lots of toys etc to play with as well as high chairs. It is a non for profit so food is very cheap and healthy.
