Before we all break up for the school summer hols, or break down with our alleged Alpha Mummy lifestyles - who fancies lunch in Spitalfields?

Dates I'd like to suggest are Thursday 12th July or Monday 16th July...

Thank you Frogs!
I'm getting a consensus for PP so I'll book it for you now and report back.

I can't believe how naive I was re Giraffe - had no idea it was such a popular place

Will keep eyes peeled for NovemberGirl and Kewcumber - have CATed them but I doubt they'll get it in time

fine by me - I have to fall about 300 yds further but guess I can live with that...

another good standby is The Kings Stores in the lanes between Middlesex St and Spitallfields. they've renovated and although a pub the food is very good. I think you can book tables (though not absolutely sure)

Have just booked a table for six here although thankfully it sounds as though you all know its whereabouts

I am so sorry about the confusion and not to be there myself this time but have a good lunch

And next time we'll make it handy for you Kewcumber your suggestion sounds nice too

giraffe seemingly need bookings for lunch a week in advance

I just thought they would not be totally full in school term-time, doh

Table is booked in my RL name which hoxty and dino both know and hopefully frogs can remember, or get off hoxty by text

Do you want me to email dino?

Report
Marina · 12/07/2007 11:25

Frogs, I do too. Bundle is hopefully texting her too and I sent a mail but am unsure it's to the right addy.

Just in case, my name sounds like a top-notch public school for boys to the West of London, and there is a square in Belgravia spelled the same. And apparently an enormous department store in Canada.
None of which bijou associations have any relevance to my family, sadly

Ermm, you'll have to be less cryptic, marina. I only know your first name, did you book it in that too?

bundle · 12/07/2007 11:27

Now that I would be happy to be associated with bundle

Marina - sorry to hear about your bus crash - would it be inappropriate to ask if your behind is recovering?
